no official dates and the West Coast ports have been clogged... but what i'd guess...

-Spidey Wave 2 (hobgoblin wave) - March
-Avengers Wave 2 (Thanos) - April/May
-Antman Wave 1 (Ultron) June
-Avengers Wave 3 (HulkBuster) July/August

So I just saw some pics of the AOU marvel select figures and the Ant Man figure. Thor's face sculpt is horrible, looks like a woman. Very disappointing. Also disappointing we don't get interchangeable open hands with hulk. We just get his two closed fists.

I'm not talking about officially released pics. I saw on a FB page pics from the toy fair. And this one pic of him he look very girl like. Almost look like he had on lipstick and baby blue eyes and pale skin. Everyone who commented on the pic brought it up. One guy even said he looked like he was from the movie White Chicks. I'm just saying that's what this particular toy fair pic looked like. I've seen the officially released pics as well though.

I'm really really torn on this spiderman wave.

I'll preface this mini rant by saying I haven't seen any of them yet. And I will get them all.

But I don't need another spidey. Half mask and pizza is cool and a great idea actually to differentiate the figure (though a new battle damage spidey would be cool...The last one ....15 years ago was great) but not enough for me to want to get a 35th or so spidey.

Spider Man 2099.....I have one....well 2 I guess....but one loose. And it's good enough. This guy will be nice to have updated articulation. ...The last one was lacking.

Daredevil.....actually looking back ole DD has been pretty lacking in marvel legends.....spiderman classics. Urban legends box set. Another spiderman classics......movie dd and a face off pack......so.....I dunno oh and the yellow dd. I've been here since day one so I have dd....but others won't is suppose. So not terribly needed by me.

Ultimate spider girl. ....good looking fig....but I have no need for ultimate figures.....though maybe I'll need her after secret war.

Mayday Parker. This one I like. She's been around for years....and the ml will be nice.....though there's no where great to put her

Anti venom. Well this one intrigues me....cause he's never been a legend yet. By all accounts the Marvel select anti venom is superior in every way. But I like legends. ....anyway I guess this would be my most wanted of the figures.

Now that said.....This is a wave I would easily pass on the whole thing. I don't see a single figure here as one I need. Or even strongly want. But.....since the beginning of Dan Scotts run on Spider-man one character has far and away become one of my top marvel characters and that is the phil Urich hobgoblin. And the baf they've done here of him looks amazing.

Yes I do have 2 other hobgoblin. ...but they are different versions and in fact different characters ....and neither are and good representation if this guy. So I do really want the baf of this wave .....which is what tears me up......is it worth it all just for one figure and some "sure why not" figures?

And phil Urich isn't even in that costume anymore....heck he's not even hobgoblin....He's the goblin knight. ....but I like to think he'll go back to hobby.....If he hasn't already.....If not up to date on marvel....If mm on marvel unlimited and just finishing up with original sin.

Actually.... all these spider variants are great for spidey displays now that spider-verse happened so may-day and spider-woman all fit

The new spidey is easily one of the best sculpted. He really looks like one of the best

2099 also looks like the best yet

The only real stinker is that antivenom who was put on the wrong body

Not anytime soon. No X-Men this year, maybe not next year either. Hasbro seems to support Marvel's efforts to retrieve the movie rights from Fox.

Anyone else notice how many Russians are in ASM Wave 3? Kraven, Chameleon, & Rhino.
