looking forward to getting that Marvel Select Age of Ultron Black Widow when she hits hopefully I can snag one locally I was extremely lucky to score a Cap 2 Widow last spring/summer at my local WM.
 
Okay, we know how Ant-Man's helmet looks when it's open and it looks NOTHING like Hasbro's Ant-Man figure. Remember when people told me to wait and see? well we know now that Hasbro changed Ant-Man's helmet because they didn't like it's design. Pathetic.
 
Yep, the helmet on the figure is atrotious, I'm not arguing with you there, Harry. I'm just hoping the rumors of a Walgreens exclusive O'Grady Ant-Man are true.
 
atrocious or not.. it's quite possible the design they were given in production was dated... and it was changed later.. regardless.. movie figs usually suck anyway.. so i really could not care less about his accuracy..
 
that being said the SDCC box set looks fantastic... so excited for that.. though sick to my stomach over expenses...

just pre-ordered the Ultron, Rhino, and Hulkbuster waves (in addition to the GOTG box set) wheeeeeee wallet bleeds
 
When are we getting the AOU Amazon 4 pack? Do we know anything more than "later this year"?
 
The ant man helmet also looks like the mouth piece moves/comes off according to the in hand pics that showed up about a week ago. I'm not too upset with it because according to Sammy Sheldon and Ivo Coveney (Antman movie costume designers) the helmet only needs to be closed like that is when he shrinks to help him breath. It was on an article on comicbook movie.com.

$9.99 for a 0.75" Ant-Man Movie figure??
 
Yea that one is a pass. I'm in for the 5 fig box set: 12" Giant-man, 6" Goliath, 3.75" Hank Pym in lab coat w/swappable head, 1.5" Scott Lang, and 1" Antman.
 
I think i may pass on both... if the pym sized figure was 6in and everything was in scale to follow suit.. i would have jumped on this...

this giant man is basically the same size as the giant-skrull/goliath from the past
 
my wallet is going to be terribly angry...

I guess the first batches of the Hulkbuster wave are shipping from dorkside... antman will hit any moment... and i currently don't have enough for rhino in my account.. so hopefully they give me a month to breathe.

luckily my mom always gets me the SDCC set for my birthday.

but then there's the guardians set also hitting soon... arg!
 
Welcome to the Hype! Nice review, and the pics look great! Kraven is by far my most anticipated figure of the year!
 
ugh.. they still haven't fixed his damn nose paint...

(on the lion)

if you can see, the sculpt of the nose of the lion actually is just below mid chest.. while the paint app for it is much lower... they f'd it up and didn't translate the prototype correctly :( i was hoping this would be fixed..


PS. my Hulkbuster set arrived yesterday... he's certainly massive
