In terms of schedule plans, yeah. At most Spidey will have a small role (5 mins maybe?)

The script was already written, and to have two completely different versions of a script and not knowing which was going to be used until two months before shooting wouldn't be smart - therefore Spidey can have only had small role that easily could have been removed from, or added to, the movie should the deal have gone ahead.

Of course I could be wrong, but he won't have a huge role whatever happens.

I had thought the double scripts were confirmed in the leaked emails.


Anyway, let's just hope the 4th announcement is "Oops, we forgot somebody, here's your Spidey".

Yes we known they had multi scripts in the event spidey was to be used by them. Again just cause we had the public reveal of the deal in feb. Doesn't mean that is when exactly deal was made. Remember these things like some time for casting for example. Takes months to work out deals. And may already been official to sony and marvel heads days weeks or more in advance of going public.

As for agent m other news nice to see that writer dou has landed another prime marvel script.

The guys who wrote winter solider and civil war are doing infinity wars.

My point was they couldn't have two completely different scripts, one which Spidey has a large role, and one where he's not in it at all - logistically it wouldn't work. Entire schedules, locations, budgets etc. would need to be changed dependant on the script. Given the deal likely wasn't finalised until January / February time, that's not long enough to completely change schedules from what was planned for the non-Spidey script.

I'm not doubting there was two scripts - I'm doubting that the Spidey script was anything more than a couple of minutes just introducing the new Spidey.

No reason multi scripts where not worked on. Again we know deal was in the works as far back as Aug Sept time. Then for a brief time deal was off the table. To around nov and dec things where back on track. Really spidey script or no spidey script was likely nothing to big that would cause issues for production and all that.

And speaking of scripts look over at wb there been reports for months both ww and aqua man solo films which is still far off they have different groups of writers doing scripts. And then decide which they want.

Really spidey likely not going to be a huge role like cap stark and bp will be. But he likely going to be something around the fury widow of im2 or vision in av2. In the film for like 10 mins of total time but show up for a few scenes. Again no way spidey going to be just one scene blank you miss it.

Like I pointed out they didn't even confirm freeman role in the cast list. And these things always get updated over the coming months. So nothing to fret over.
