I don't want a 14 year old being spiderman in the mcu. that's way too young for anyone to be a superhero, i don't care how smart/strong/capable they are. that's just me though. 16 is okay but anything beneath that is way too young

I totally agree. Peter Parker being 14 is undoubtly and unarguably an incredibly stupid idea. It's way too young. 16-17 would be ideal. Asa looking 14 years old is definitely not a good thing.

Within the teenage span the difference is pretty big, both physically and when it comes to school and stuff.

I would like to see 15 in Civil War. 16 in the solo film. 17 during infinity wars and then 18 and graduate at the end of the 2nd solo film

Again guys in this day and age it's hard to keep anything secret. More so when there is on location shooting going on. No way they will keep secret who is spidey for rest of the yr or anything. We are more then likely getting reveal next week of the following. Again all counting when spidey scenes are shooting next month.

I think Spider-Man getting his powers at the age of 15, but being 16 at the start of the films, is the lowest I can dig. Most preferrably he'd be 16 or 17.

That's how take it. He get bitten at 15. Flies under the radar for a year as Spider-Man and we see him in CW as a 16 year old.

Ya I taking it he is 15 right now in the mcu and been bitten let's say right around or right after the events of aou. And he is near 16 yrs old at the start of civil war. So he could be 16 still come solo 1. 17 in infinity 1. And 18 in infinity 2 and solo 2. And so forth like that.

word, yeah. i've got nothing to say about these youngin' actors though coz I don't want any of them to get the role.
Why does it matter if he's 14 or 16? Hardly a difference.
Hell no. That's two whole years of a difference as an adolescent. There is definitely a difference.

Also, 18 is generally considered the standard age of being an official young adult, so being 14 means 4 years away from that while 16 is 2.

Yeah, this sounds about right to me. And honestly, I could see O'brien playing a 17 or even 18 year old. then again, I prefer to have a college year'd spidey

Um guys...

Fake, that's this image from one of the games:

I've never been a fan of the Iron Spider suit to be honest, even though there are worse costumes out there. I hope, if they use that one, that it will be highly temporarily.

I dunno if it's about the look suit itself as much as it is the obtaining of the suit. that's more of the key thing here.

I wouldn't want Spidey getting that suit in his first appearance.

Yeah agreed! I don't mind the suit, but if he's wearing that as his costume for the film I'll be a little disappointed. I'd rather the film have him in the classic suit more than the Iron Spider.

Completely agree. I don't like the suit at all.

Iron spidey is cool. But I wouldn't want to see it to soon.

I think keeping with the original red and blue is the best thing that can be done. I'm a guy who hates change so seeing a different suit would be, honestly, a big put off for me. I'd even hate for them to introduce the black suit in the first, maybe even the second, film.

What I do hope they do is take a tip from Sam Raimi's first film and introduce a temporary suit like Maguire's wrestling attire. I think Mark Webb's was awful, in my opinion, as it didn't have that "Spider-Man" theme to it whereas the original one did. It even had the blue and red colours!

I hope he has a homemade suit for at least the first movie. It would be cool to see an evolution over the course of the movies.

He more then likely will have classic suit. We could do iron spidey or others down the road like infinity or some other pic.

Me neither. The red and gold don't mix well and there's something off about the design if you ask me.

I can see Tony handing Spidey a suit that you can see is made by Tony, but that specific design is pretty bad.

Another thing I really hope they don't use from the Civil War saga is Peter revealing his identity in public.

What about the idea of Gwen dying, once again, only this time, not knowing that Peter is Spider-Man?
