The more I keep hearing about what DDBA was originally supposed to be like, I can't help but weigh in terror. Ignoring the original Netflix series was the worst thing they ever could have done. Even if it was fairly good, people still would have been giving this new series a bunch of $#&%. I'm more curious about what else it would have been like too. Less gory and violent?
Does anyone think they'll actually bring Foggy back next season, but actually be alive, saying he was in witness protection, and managed to get his heart beating again after CPR?
Well this was a damn good season, even though I'll admit, it was a slow start and build-up, but it had juice. So excited for next season. I look forward to potentially seeing--I wonder how many episodes it will be--I feel like it could be several consecutive episodes with a full arc showing Daredevil's army hiding out but also fighting Kingpin's army. Vigilantes will be wanted. Clearly they're not going to show Spider-Man next season who would be considered a vigilante and that's a problem. They have to incorporate the movie MCU characters in DDBA somehow. I want them to show at least a minority of some of the MCU characters that appeared in the MCU films. Not just the ones we've seen on the streaming shows.
If they disregard any of the events that happened in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, that would be disappointing. Not explaining what happened.
Obviously we don't know what happened to any of these characters during the Thanos snap.
I can see the female White Tiger being a thing as well now, after Hector's fate and that ending showing all the characters there was a vivid one of Angela and they have the perfect opportunity to show more of what that character is all about and can do now. Would make a lot of sense for her to join the team.
Kate turning up in this as well would be a great addition. Steinfeld is always great in whatever she does so to add her in the mix would be great fun.If Kate Bishop joins the team as an ally, I can see Kate trying to get her on the Champions (that is what the team is likely to be called, because Kate will be like in her late 20's).

While Kate Bishop is the elder, out of their previous scenes it seems like it is Kamala Khan who is the one going out to put a team together. If Angela Del Toro and Kate Bishop are with this team, Angela could impress Kate enough to where Kate asks her to be on her team, putting Angela in the greater MCU. Angela will most likely receive extensive martial arts training before then though.

Reading all of these posts makes me realize and points out just how crucial and key a character Kate Bishop will be going forward post-Secret Wars. I could even see her becoming part of whatever future Avengers team is formed, maybe even perform double duty while also being on the Champions.
Also, she’s totally going to use her family‘s wealth and security company to help with all of the team’s funds, resources and ventures. Throw in her personality and she, along with Riri, could basically fill the Tony Stark sort of role, minus the narcissism and self-destructiveness. Okay, maybe a little self-destructiveness.
Well, we don’t know where she’s going to be at the end of her series, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.Riri is in Chicago the next time we see her, so I don't know how she gets to New York.
Rhodey needs a redemption story after the awful Secret Invasion.
With Netflix Defenders now canon it is more than a dream. Coleen Wing ended the series as the Immortal Iron Fist while Danny had regained his powers in tandem, with her being a Chinatown based vigilante. It would be like Wong is the Sorcerer Supreme even though Dr. Strange has returned from being blipped.I could do without Iron Fist or a re-cast at least but I guess if it means we get Colleen Wing back thats something. Colleen Wing as Iron Fist is the dream.
Pls expect not another Avengers: Endgame level of cross over here.. I exactly remember those talks with Secret Invasion. A lot of people here guessed even some A-listers will show up and look how this ended.
They dont have the budget to pay a lot of actors with no function for story beside "Team event gimmic" and a screentime for maybe 3 min each. Give me 3 heroes involved instead of 10, but with a decent screen time and an maybe an actual arc.
Furthermore, the heroes involved need something to do. And I cant see keeping all characters busy enough in the fight unless they face random-evil-police-guy #101-200.
I'm gonna keep my expectations in check because I simply don't see a big team-up being on this show. It will most likely be a couple of them, in one... maybe two episodes.

Also, if Disney wasn’t an issue, and if there were any justice in the world, we’d have that Kate and Yelena action romcom thriller we all deserve.
So much potential for her character. I can’t wait to see what they have planned for her!
