Ehh, I want to be interested in this game but the pics that have been released so far look like they could be from the first installment, Im sure the level design from picture 2 and 3 posted above are exactly the same as a level in MUA, The Helicarrier maybe. Also the 100 generic robots arent looking up to much, I cant even tell if they've used the same design they were so forgettable.

Superhero_101: Vicarious didn't have anything to do with the plot for M:UA, Ravensoft did. It seems Vicarious is taking those "liberties" with the plot like they did for SM3...we all know how that turned out...

Eh, if you liked the first one, im sure youll like this one. Even with a diff developer, i dont think the game will turn out to be so bad that you cant enjoy it given you enjoyed the orig.

Ok so its been confirmed that there will be ATLEAST 24 playable characters but if you could choose the line up who would you have?

I personally wouldnt go for all the specific known characters like elektra etc

This is how mine would pan out

2.Captain Marvel (He was brilliant in the PSP version)

4.Hulk (there were a lot of differences between Hulk and Thing and I liked them both on my team)
5.Iron Man (Maybe a few more choices of suits)
6.Wolverine
7.Jean Grey (we missed out on her in the first one and tbh i was disappointed - she has potential)
8.Spiderman
9.Doc Ock
10.Vision
11.Hank Pym (Giant Man Version)
12.Quiksilver
13.Avalanche
14.Namor
15.Captain Britain
16.Gambit
17.Silver Surfer (but with more power than the first game..he was kinda lame)
18.Black Panther (selectable from the start though)

20.Union Jack (in place of Blade - venture cross the pond abit...we deserve it)
21.Dr.Strange (again if his powers are ampt up...using a whole slot to teleport is daft when deadpool and nightcrawler get to do them for free.)

I think the environments should be alot more destructible and the character interaction should definately be worked on...that was one of the main things that bugged me about the first...having people like Sabretooth talking to Wolverine as if neither knew each other or having Johnny Storm talking to Sue like they werent related as she waffled on about her brother - HES RIGHT IN FRIGGIN FRONT OF YOU YOU IDIOT!!!!!!

Other than that im curious to see what they do with this game...loved the first one gameplay wise...

I hope Spider-man isn't as lame as he was in the first game. For some reason Daredevil seemed to be the superior acrobat and more fun to play as.

I also want the classic yellow and blue Wolverine costume. It's like Marvel wants to pretend Logan never wore trunks ever since it's been redesigned.

Im not sure how theyre working the continuation esp now theyve decided that M:UA 2 is civil war story line which is a 616 story but this is Marvel...theyve got a current Hulk arc with him being a moron again without any regard for his WWH intelligence....theyre wierd

Agreed. Spider-Man was only good with his powered up shield, then you could kick some ass with him. Daredevil was much better though and more fun to play.

I have no idea what they're thinking in regards to Hulk but as for as storylines and costumes, they just go with whatever is popular at the moment. When Ultimate X-Men was really popular their (lame) black costumes were plastered all over their merchandise. Now it seems the Astonishing costumes are the norm.

I just hope the Civil War story line in this game has a better ending and doesn't make Spidey look like a fool.
