Its sold out and you are out of luck. I think this really will be a limited edition and your best hope might be to snag one in a store as soon as its released or try to buy it off of someone, but they might jack up the price

!()&$#*()&$#*(^Q#@& :cmad:

...and what I mean by that is "thanks for letting me know...that really blows"

About the only reason I got the CE was for the free subscription to Marvel Unlimited. I don't care about those damn tins, the tie-in comic will undoubtedly be balls, and I don't have any particular interest in either of the DLC characters, but I wouldn't mind having a access to some good back issues.

EDIT: And Amazon had it for $65.99, so I figured what the hell at the time.

Complete! GLOBAL! SATURATION!

:awesome:

I pre-ordered the SE from Best Buy. Then they gave me an ETA between the 15th and the 22nd... F-that! I'm buying the regular edition on day one, trading/selling it when the SE comes in, and using the money to pre-order Pokémon Black and White.

I am NOT waiting any longer than I have to!
I'm getting the SE from BB and I chose to pick up at store and I'm getting it the 15th

BTW has everyone seen this:

It's called a Limited/Collectors Edition for a reason, why do people think they can get it so close to the release date?

Well, to be fair, usually that doesn't really mean anything. You can still find CE's well after they're released for most games nowadays.

Yeah, "Limited/Collector's Edition" is just like "All Natural" or "Player's Choice". Essentially meaningless.

Not always the case though. I mean people get comfortable and forget the meaning of those words and then get pissed when they can't get something that was clearly meant for early pre-order.

Normally I'd feel the same way...but when it comes to really good Marvel comics related games and games that are amongs my favorite of all time (MvC2), it's not meaningless to me.

Not to mention you get 2 DLC characters a month (i think) before they become available to everyone, and then there are the other goodies and the sweet metal case.

Yea, Chun-li's lightning kick assist is going to be abused me thinks. It looks beastly good.

Unfortunely, I am pretty sure thats not how it will work, at least if I am remembering correctly what I read about the subject. We that pre-ordered the CE will get the code on day one but wont be able to redeem it until after a month from release date, just in time for when the DLC goes actually on sale for the rest of the players.

BAM! ordered the CE. Thanks again Havok!

Could you, or someone, get a link confirming that's how it's working with this?

That sounds lame and like nothing DLC related I've ever heard of. Whenever I've pre-ordered something and it comes with a DLC voucher, you go home, punch it in, and get to download it immediately. And then weeks to months later it becomes available at a price for everyone else.

The full list of starting participants in next year's cross-dimensional fight club, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, has yet to be officially confirmed, but we've already learned of two late, downloadable entries: Resident Evil's almost-sandwich, Jill Valentine; and the optometrist's grotesque nightmare, Shuma Gorath. According to a Gamestop listing, both combatants will be available four weeks after the game's launch -- an included download voucher grants free access to Jill and Shuma if you purchase the Special Edition.

wow...that's surprising, and...well...lame like I said. But hey, at least we're getting extra characters.

thanks for the link Specter.
