Marvel vs. Capcom 3

im definatley getting the game, just sick of the double standard on what is broken and what isnt. I wont be playing this game online much anyway, i know what a gong show that will be already

agreed, 3+ hours of cut scenes alone and an epic story mode at least 3x as long as mk vs dc will give me my story fix. Im super stoked on getting mvc3, but im really waiting for MK the most

the VS series are fighting games that are an exception. The game works well with insanely overpowered characters and techniques. Sure there are 100% combos, but you still have 2 other characters who can then land their own 100% combo. it works in this environment

You can't have the same in 1v1 fighters like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Tekken....that would be very lame. Characters in those games that are clearly overpowered, and can beat any other character with no problems, break those games in a bad way. Unless there is an overhaul of the game's fighting engine to make those games more like the vs series, broken characters would be banned or the game just wont be played

Who cares? No one plays this game because they want a rich and compelling story. Use you fav characters and beat the hell out of you opponent, there, theres your story.

A rich and compelling story was the last thing I was expecting. I just wanted an excuse for awesome cutscenes.

I want more of Capcom & Marvel characters interacting. The few endings I've seen have been awesome & I want to see more of the MvC world.

I've always said she would be a Cammy with a gun. Now we have a Cammy with claws and a Cammy with a gun. As much as I liked the real Cammy I don't think she's needed now.
