Yes his head looks strange in TASM2. I love the eyes, but the shape of the mask is kinda strange ...

I would like to see something new with the mask ... I'm not talking about the design, Spider-Man is Spider-Man, but ... You know, I would be fun to have something new like an animated mask, like in the comics an animated. A mask that shows Peter's expressions.

I'm not sure how'd it look on the big screen, to be honest.

It'd probably take me out of whatever story they were telling.

The lenses are ok. Just because Marvel might potentially get a chance to make the costume, doesn't mean it needs to be 100% comic accurate. I mean, which of their heroes does look 100% comic accurate? Ironman and Hulk?

That's just a cheap Halloween mask.. bad example lol. With the right textures and a little bit of movie magic, it could work.

That's how I was at first, but then I eventually got over it and calmed down.

I was like you, though.

I really wish we could've gotten the TASM suit just with the improvements you mentioned (maybe not the red gloves, since I happened to enjoy the blue/red mixed), but we got what we want and I'm fine with it because I love the TASM2 suit.

I hated the Raimi suit, and I can confidently say that what we got is NOT the Raimi suit just with bigger eyes.

I don't know how you could hate the rami suit but like the asm2 suit has basically the only difference is bigger eyes and no muscle suit under neith so that makes no sinces at all. They are Corbin copy's of each other. That is why I love the asm2 suit so much because the rami one was just about perfect and the asm2 one is basically a slightly better version of the rami one. Even the reds and blues are like the same on both of them.

Since y'all are talking about suits, this is a question to perhaps suggest some alternative suits that might appear alongside the classic one.

It's obvious to me that whatever happens, we're gonna get a classic costume. The details and differences will be minor, but, for all intents and purposes, it'll look right. In five films, the suits have never looked awful.

...but what about the Iron Spider suit? Or the black costume? Or if some kid named Miles Morales is so inspired by Spidey that he throws a suit together on his own?

What I'm really interested in is if Spidey might run into Tony Stark, now that they'd be in canon together, and Stark is like "Yeah, I've seen your work. Pretty good stuff, but I think I can make a few improvements." Next scene, he comes out with the Iron Suit. Or maybe, if Spidey appears in Infinity Wars, his costume gets wrecked. He needs a new one, and finds an alien symbiote.

I just think that it's a little short sighted to just look at Marvel using the classic suit. I mean, look at Captain America. In just four appearances, he's worn a good four or five different costumes, and all of them look great. Iron Man, on the other hand, has 44 suits! xD

I think that, if we're talking about costumes, we ought to consider the possibility that Marvel might make new costumes for Spidey to wear on a regular basis. It seems per the course for them by this point.

I loved the material of ASM, especially the black webs.
I loved the design of ASM2, especially the eyes.

TASM took a huge chance with the costume, it was ballsy. To me, it was cool... But I definitely didn't like the material. Looked way too much like a basketball.

TASM's suit was almost perfect had they brightened up the red & blues and got rid of that God awful spider symbol. The daddy long legs needs to go... Also not a fan of the web shooters on the outside of the sleeve, would prefer it under the costume and just the shooter stick out or something like that.
