Spider-Man 2 and the Civil War/Homecoming suit.

I like the TASM2 design a lot, too.

Now that we've seen Spidey's new costume in action Captain America: Civil War and with set pics from Spidey Homecoming rolling in, the question rises once again; out of the six films, which is your favorite live action adaptation of the Spider-Man costume? Has seeing Civil War/and/or the practical suit for Homecoming changed your opinion? We like what we choose to like. Now CHOOSE. :gg:

Easily CW/Homecoming.I can't wait till Marvel update the suit and really perfect it however as there are a few small things that bug me

I like the costumes from TASM2 and CA:CW. The other ones were garbage.

I love the MCU one, particularly the Romita eyes (I still can't believe they went for them!) and the particular tone of red they chose, thick spider on the back...just love it!

The Raimi films slightly edge out the win for me, but I honestly haven't DISliked a suit yet. Personally I rank them Raimi > Civil War (would be better with the concept art classic chest spider) > ASM2 > ASM1... But I really liked the ASM1 design anyway. It's shades of separation for me, honestly. The CW costume is awesome but I think the small changes they made distract JUST A BIT too much for me. Raimi remains a really incredible translation from page to screen, silver raised webbing and all.

By a long shot... Not even close, this is perfection.

Did anybody else prefer the Raimi spider logos? Specifically from Spider-Man where the back spider was fat, but still resembled a spider instead of a tick? I generally prefer that to the new logo we got in Civil War and Homecoming.

If they'd gone with the concept art logo though, like what appears on the Civil War Spider-Man lego minifigure... Different story altogether.

Can someone please post that CW concept art that is being mentioned?

The funny thing is, they actually did, originally. The suit you see on the Lego minifigure, Marvel Legends figure and some of the concept art was the original physical suit that they had made for the movie before Spidey was replaced with full CGI. When they replaced the physical suit, they changed some of the design elements like: the chest spider, the webbing (was raised), the stripes (were originally blue) and the back spider.

I wasn't aware of that. Huh. The more you know...

Either way. Really wish they'd have stuck with that classic Romita spider.

Hell naw I love these logos. The tick spider made my inner fanboy go bat**** even though its such a small thing.

Civil War's, but I have a soft spot for Spiderman's just because it was the first.

MCU Spiderman suit would be the best if the belt was lower. It's just kinda distracting

After seeing the suit they used for filming on Civil War. I really wished they had retained the raised webbing and raised Spider. Maybe they did this purely from a CGI stand point. The animator now don't have to worry about that texture. Also easier to make the suits as they don't need to glue on the raised webbing.

Still it looked much better with the raised webbing. Personally I'm a fan of the gunmetal from the Raimi suits but I think I'm really more a fan of fatter webbing then the Webb suits.

I decided to go with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 costume.

What I hated about all previous SM costumes - absurd volumetric webbing. So happy they got rid of it and now the pattern is much more balanced. And of course new lenses...
