The Reaper vs Thresher Maw scenario sounds NUTS.

Cerberus Daily News - 11/12/2010 - Photo Revives Debate Over Tuchanka's "Colossal Thresher Maw"

“A photo taken by Clan Ravanor miners during a drilling operation on the krogan homeworld of Tuchanka is reigniting debate on the existence of a colossal thresher maw. The photo, now being viewed widely on the extranet, adds to a long line of evidence that skeptics call an old and treasured hoax -- and believers call irrefutable proof. For centuries, krogan settlements bordering Tuchanka's deserts have told stories of entire clans swallowed by this colossal thresher maw. While locals claim the ancient creature is real, no outside sources have confirmed the beast's existence.”

:awesome:

Thanks Upset Spideyfan for the scans.

Nice that we finally get to see the new squadmember James Sanders though Bioware didn't confirmed that he is related to Kahlee Sanders, it would be a cool tie-in for fans of the books.

I read the GameInformer article on the can today. I was a bit disappointed when they mentioned that Anderson was just a placeholder. I got really excited at the prospect of having him as a squad member. How great a cap to his involvement supporting Shepard so far would that be?

From what I'm hearing on the forums it sounds like certain characters will TEMPORARILY join your party in the same way Liara did in Shadowbroker so if that's the case I fully expect Anderson to be one such character.

I'd like him to be a full-time squadmate. Shep and his mentor, side-by-side against impossible odds! But actually, it could work out well. Maybe Anderson helps out on the Citadel and then you leave him to take charge of that situation while you go out and handle the Reapers elsewhere. Important characters with ties to specific locations could basically become like subcommanders in those locations (unless they are full-time squadmates).

I hope Legion comes back. It was pretty neat having him in the party.

No real surprise here but from the voice actress who plays Jack:

"Going back to work for one of the best franchises EVER on Monday! So pleased!"

Cool, she did good work. I ended up liking Jack a lot more than I initially thought I would.

I love Jack,I'm happy for her return and IF they put some hair on her then that would be a nice bonus!

So that ninja looking guy was James Sanders then?

At first I thought it could be him but on the second glance it doesn't seems likely. He doesn't look like an Alliance soldier at all to me but I could be wrong.

FINALLY got my GI and read the write up... I'm uber pumped. Anderson BETTER be a party member, seriously.

I hope not. I have no desire to have him on the squad. He is good in his supporting role

you got a problem with Jacob?

racist

I could see Anderson joining your squad for a section of the game, maybe towards the end

Anderson is just one cool dude compared to boring Jacob.

I put him on the council for a reason. I don't need him running into gunfire with me and getting killed. The most I can see is him being a temporary squaddie for one mission.

IA. The guy is best as a supporting NPC. He shouldnt become a squad member. Theres a reason why he stopped going into combat and took on a more ambassadorial role

So, I just got my Gameinformer issue and read through the Mass Effect 3 article multiple times. Everything got me excited, but the one thing that made me REALLY happy was the fact that you can now pick up enemy weapons when they die.

:awesome:

Life complete.

Hey, if Avery Johnson can do it... So can Anderson. Once a soldier, always a soldier.
