I dont care what role it is, he just needs to be featured more. As long as Keith David is still voicing him.

I put him on the council for a reason. I don't need him running into gunfire with me and getting killed. The most I can see is him being a temporary squaddie for one mission.
Oh yeah, I forgot how that was a significant danger for every permanent squadmate in each of the games so far...

IA. The guy is best as a supporting NPC. He shouldnt become a squad member. Theres a reason why he stopped going into combat and took on a more ambassadorial role

He didn't want the ambassadorial role though. He'd prefer to be a grunt.

and he'd be a useless one....my Shep is the soldier, everyone else can do stuff I can't...what is Anderson gonna do? break his hip at an enemy?

Well he was a bad ass soldier in the past. Who knows? Maybe he's like Rambo, get's even more bad ass with age?

Useless for you, sucka. My favorite Shep is a biotic powerhouse, so having Anderson with a big f***ing machine gun backing him up would be cool.

really? thought I heard it in random movie once

You probably did, but Joker also says it to Miranda after the Collectors grab the Normandy crew. "What was I supposed to do, break my arm at them?"

I only mentioned it because I played through that part yesterday.:yay:

I found that part slightly disturbing simply because I was playing as someone other than Shep.

The way they got Shep and everyone else off the ship was lame but the mission itself was pretty cool. When I rounded that corner and saw Kelly being dragged screaming into the elevator I was like :eek:

My Shep's a soldier too... What's better than one bad ass Soldier? TWO bad ass soldiers. Like I said, once a soldier, always a soldier... no matter the age. I'd still take Anderson over Jacob or Zaeed... hopefully neither of them will make a return.. at least not to your party.

Yeah, it was a bit conspicuous how the entire combat team leaves the ship together for exactly two missions: once for the final suicide mission and once when the Collectors conveniently show up right afterward to capture everyone else. But the mission was pretty cool. It just felt weird not being in control of Shep for once. Even in the first game, I rarely took direct control of any other characters.

I actually liked controlling Joker... I mean, he didn't do much but hobble but it was cool being in his shoes during an attack. I'd like to see Joker with a bigger role as well... obviously non-combatant (unless he has some form of body shell super suit) but the witty LOL worthy banter is always welcome.

I think Joker'll have to have a big role, given that you're going to be fighting Reapers. Who controls the Normandy, after all? :)

I dunno about Anderson. Having him in a squad just makes me certain he's going to die. I mean, come on, wise, old retired mentor who just wants one last fight? It's the classic scenario. He wants the action, hints as much in ME 2 but he gonna die, no doubt.

LOVED Joker. Guy rocks

Zaeed was one of the better characters added to the game. While not integral, he sure was a welcomed addition. I hoe he returns, but I doubt he will.

Rambo was also more fit than the average man and never stopped fighting and training. Anderson has been out of it for quite some time. He's not on Rambo's level. Age has caught up with him and he hasnt bee actively on the field to prevent that

Eh, Zaeed was just the male *****e to counter act Jack's female *****e. People tend to hate Jack but I found her way more interesting that ol' scarface.

I loved Jack and her potty mouth. She was different from everyone else and I loved how she didnt follow rules. I didnt find Zaeed to be a *****e though. The only time that that might apply was during his loyalty mission but that was bc it was extremely personal to him. Other than that, he was just as level headed and cooperative as the other squadmates

I liked Jack....she's the product of what happens when Cerberus takes s*** too far

Zaeed wasn't a *****e, he just was what he was. Jack was totally like chick Wolverine, angry and vengeful because she'd been twisted that way but with empathy and a chance at redemption. Zaeed was just unapologetically one way. He killed people, had no qualms about it but didn't mix words. I think it was cool to have at least one character who is amoral but so completely comfortable with himself and aware of who he is.
