I think it was during the lair of the Shadow Broker at the video archives that I got that, the bartender was looking at a picture of an Asari that looked similar to Liara.

Regarding the bar tender, it's possible that she could be the "father" or maybe people are over-analysing the possibilities just because she look at a video of an asari that resemblance Liara. I guess we have to wait for Mass Effect 3 to come out to find the answer to that question.

I think it's mostly based around how old she is, some of the stories she tells, and she seems to have quite a bit of information/dealing with Benezia which she won't go into detail about. And I think she mentions having had a pureblood Asari child at some point in conversation, but I could be wrong.

In ME 2, Conrad Verner seems to the think that Shepard held a gun to his face, even if players chose the paragon option in ME 1. Was this just a glitch, or is there some story reason behind this?
Well, it may have been a glitch, or maybe Conrad was just having an off day (even more off than usual). Stay tuned in Mass Effect 3 to see how Verner deals with this embarrassing misstep with Shepard.

Legion couldn’t fully answer Shepard’s question about the reason it chose Shepard’s armor to repair itself. Can you give us any insight?
Legion is a complex organism. And like many of us evolved organics, he is not always certain about why he does the things he does. But I think it's safe to assume that Legion saw in Shepard a sort of kindred spirit. Legion is unique among his kind, as is Shepard, and he no doubt inferred a sort of bond with this unique human individual. And… there was a hole.

No, you're right. Liara is pureblood Asari, that's why other Asari look down on her. They believe that using other races genetic material in mating will help the evolution of the Asari as a race.

She technically has two "mothers", if you can actually call the Asari women. They only really have one sex, they just look female.

I love how GameInformer is handling the release of information about games. They did a similar thing (creating a hub for a game where they release info about games) for Skyrim, and it was well designed. They seem to have really good graphic designers on their team.

Garrus' new outfit looks nice and it looks like he's picked up some nasty scars to go along with it.

In the first game, I don't know Garrus reminded me of a Wannabe Specter that was never going to make it to that level. It was only his transformation in the 2nd game that really got me to like him. Same thing with Tali. Those Loyalty missions in the 2nd game really endeared them to me.
