So I've heard rumblings for a while that the TV and film side at Marvel are largely separate from one another, and every now and then at odds. I've heard people make remarks that Kevin Fiege does not care for Agents of Shield, and I do recall him saying in press interview for AoU that he had no seen Daredevil yet. I've also heard that they were upset at Whedon for bringing Coulson back, and understandably don't want to touch that idea on the film side of things.
Could someone provide me with some links to clarify this matter, because all of this is just internet hearsay and I'd like to know if there is anything to believe about these rumors.

It was Whedon who said that as far as he's concerned, Coulson is dead in the movies.

Also its bs that the movies and tg are separate especially since DD and AoS reference the battle of New York and their entire premises revolve around that.

Feige also told people to tune into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to find out where Fury got that helicarrier in Age of Ultron, so the relationship has clearly improved...

Also there's this (AoS finale and Ant-Man spoilers):

Hydra was presumed eradicated at the end of Age of Ultron, but Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s finale revealed that remnants were still around and Ward will attempt to become their leader. We see that Hydra is still around in Ant-Man. That's a pretty big thing that makes no sense if you only watch the films (where Hydra is gone) and haven't seen the show (which was the only thing to say Hydra survived prior, as there's been no other film between).

Here's a good article on the subject.

It's not complete BS. So far it's been a one way street. The shows reference the movies but the movies don't reference the shows. No mention of Coulson or his team. No Daredevil in CW.

The key words being 'So far'. They're setting up the backstory for Inhumans already on TV in preparation for the movie. And I firmly expect some of the Netflix characters to show up in CW or IW. Now it'll mostly remain flowing downhill from movies to TV but it won't always be that way. On occassion things will go the other way.

Except none of the Inhumans are from the comics, the backstory is different from the comics, and [BLACKOUT]most of the leaders are dead.[/BLACKOUT] I wouldn't be surprised if we find out that these were impure outcast Inhumans and the real ones are in the movie.

I wish I had your faith but everything I've read is "A no for CW and a maybe down the line."

I don't think it very likely to see any TV Inhuman in the films either but the pont was to introduce the concept of the Inhumans, which they have.

I can understand them not showing up in CW given the time frame but IW? I would be surprised if they aren't there, especially since it's being split into 2 parts and the reason for that likely will be for us to see the effects of part 1 throughout the MCU's different parts before it gets resolved in part 2. When Thanos murders half the universe in part 1, well that's the kind of thing that could have long ranging effects and it'd be interesing to see how the world reacts to most of the major Avengers getting killed and maybe much of the smaller characters have to pick up the slack.

That's just a guess though but it's what I'd do if I were them.

That's 99% likely but CW is still filming, at the same time as season 2 of Daredevil, so they could easily film a cameo and have us be none the wiser.

The fact that DD was renewed so quickly and jumped directly into filming must have gotten the attention to people at Marvel Studios that might have overlooked it.

I'm hoping for a cameo if it fits.

Loeb said that he's heard the New York Bulletin will jump from Netflix to the movies, so I think it's only a matter of time before some characters do the same.

The real question is will JJ Jameson and Joe Robbie Roberson be part of the New York Bulletin, will the paper get a name change or will The Daily Bugle become a competitor?

The AGENT CARTER showrunners mentioned Feige being in the editing room for their show, so take that for it's worth.

Of course personally I thought DAREDEVIL was better than most of the Marvel movies (and I've enjoyed most of them!), so it's nice that Marvel TV is improving considerably from AOS. Even AGENT CARTER was a decent program.

Feige is listed as an executive producer for Agent Carter. He is not for Agents Of SHIELD or Daredevil.

I think the divide is simple between tv and film. They exist within same universe, there's really no refuting that; all tv efforts have referenced and stem from the film history. But the stories told on tv exist at thier own pace and are pretty self contained. The movies dont have to reference the shows because the stories told there just don't require it imo. No need to over complicate it, but people will believe what they want. I'll just enjoy them all knowing they fit within the web of the mcu.

I thought he was for AOS?

Then again AC was more a Marvel Studios project considering alot of the bigwigs who pushed to make that show happen, like Louis Desposito.
