It would be a shame to loose the Inhumans especially now that the xmen are coming back and you won’t need to worry about making them xmen lite.

Plus, the movies and tv seem to exist in their own universes kind of. So who would you cast if they tried again? It’s a great opportunity to do annihilation

I don't think the movies have any intention of using the Inhumans or to declare that they're a separate universe from the TV shows (everyone always says the same thing, that they're in the same universe - it's fans who claim otherwise).

Anyway, I still think the characters have unrealized potential. My hope is that they get used as guest appearances. I'm not expecting more than that for awhile.

Thank you. It's quite annoying. Is it frustrating that it seems that Feige and the TV side aren't concerned with having straight up crossovers? Yeah. But facts are the shows are an extension of the MCU on broadcast, cable and streaming. Me thinks some would PREFER they be separate for the simple reason that they think the lackluster nature of some of that product blemishes the MCU in some way.

Fortunately, that series was so forgettable, I don't think it limits the MCU in any way.

But even if we imagine we're pinned to that crap, it didn't do too much damage from a broad perspective. The society of Inhumans didn't really become known to the humans in the TV show, so if they went from the Moon to their hidden refuge in the Himalayas after the events of the TV show, they could still show up (re-cast and done better) as mysterious characters in an FF film similar to how they met up in the comics.

I'd think a third or fourth FF film would be a good time to introduce them (which would be more than five years from now under any circumstances).

Honestly, I would just leave them be at this point. Between the Eternals and mutants, they offer little else that the others do.

The Inhumans are inextricably tied to the Fantastic Four, at least for me. It would be ideal if the core members of the royal family showed up in the FF franchise, even if a full exploration of their lore is left for later films. Crystal and Medusa should appear at some point, at the very least, due to their ties to the FF and Frightful Four, in Medusa's case. Who knows, without that ass Pietro in the picture, maybe Johnny and Crystal can eventually get married. :cwink:

Well, Feige said that a Ms. Marvel movie is definitely sort of in the works, and I don't see how they can introduce her without also mentioning the Inhumans.

Unless they're planning to change her origin story and make her a mutant.

I don't see the point of changing her origin story to making her a mutant. It seems far more likely that they would change it to make her a product of Kree technology without it necessarily being Terrigen.

I would rather they not waste a FF movie on the Inhumans, personally.

An argument could be made that making Kamala a lab experiment would be a bigger change than making her mutant, but whatever.

I honestly don't care if we never see the Inhumans ever again (though I do feel kind of bad for their fans, lol), I just hope Marvel doesn't give up on Lockjaw. He's too much of a good boy to be left out of the MCU.

My thought is that Kamala is a shapeshifter because her biological father is a Skrull who's been on Earth since the '90s.

So you would replace Kamala's beloved father with a Skrull... and have Kamala's extremely old-fashioned mother sleep with him? I think she would sooner convert to Christianity. :hehe:

Plus shapeshifting is not even Kamala's main power... "embiggening" is.

Lockjaw should lead his Pet Avengers in an animated film. Maybe they could use the same techniques as The Jungle Book, where there are CGI animals integrated with human actors. It's such a crazy fun concept. :yay:

Unfortunately I do t think we are going to the Inhumans anytime soon, I couldn’t even bring myself to watched one episode of the TV show, it looked so bad.

Same here, after watching that TV series I don't want to see them any time soon

I know Agents of SHIELD's producers had said they wanted to use some of the other characters. I'd like to see them as guest appearances.

Pass. The Inhumans series was just plain bad and Marvel can use them again whenever they decide to either reboot or expand past the current MCU and their newest acquisitions from Fox.

I’m dying to see a proper Attilan

I think as someone else said, the viewership for the tv series was so low I don’t think anyone would mind that much if they tried again

What issue is that from? That doesn't look like any version of Attilan I remember. It looks like a Kirby drawing, but one of a space station.

I had started a thread detailing the different versions of Attilan over the years from Kirby, to Perez, to John Byrne. To me, Byrne is my preference for how Attilan should look because it's the one I first read, but also the one where they were on the moon. I did like that the show took the hall of statues from his run (either him or when Bret Blevins drew his version in the Marvel Graphic Novel story).

If only Disney/Marvel had a time machine. They could go and dump the series in the 90s and just say that it was made then at a time when comic book adaptations were not as good and low budget. That would be the best thing for them. Then it would be like earlier TV adaptations of Thor or the Incredible Hulk etc.

If the Inhumans show up again, I'd like them to appear first in a Fantastic Four film. Maybe the FF can fight the Frightful Four at the start with Medusa as part of their lineup. She can be an amnesiac who has gotten caught up with the wrong crowd.

Perhaps after the fight with the Frightful Four, the Royal Family come looking for Medusa. At first the FF think that the Royal Family are helping the Frightful Four, but when they also attack them too, it appears that they're not on either side but only want Medusa back.

Reed can realise that Medusa isn't like the other criminals, and that she seems to be suffering from memory loss, and this leads into the bigger plot about the Inhumans.

So Frightful Four as opening sequence villains in an FF movie, leading onto the Inhumans as the main plot.

Ben Grimm can make a joke to one of the Royal Family to look on the bright side. At least she had amnesia and not a shaved head. :o

Lol, I doubt any studio would be crazy enough to make a superpets- *WB announces a Superpets movie* Ah. Nevermind then.

The question becomes could Feige make peace with some inhumans being around that some other producer set up for the MCU while ignoring THE INHUMANS who are hiding on Hawaii?

They can just say that it was all a dream. Blackbolt dreamt that Medusa got her head shaved and went to Hawaii. But he can't tell anyone about it.
