Marvel Films MCU Phase IV!

Do we really need Vol 3 before Fantastic Four or Blade though? Come on Marvel.

We still had a 2nd GOTG film, a 2nd Ant-Man film, a 3rd Cap film and a 3rd Thor film in Phase 3. This makes up only 4 of the 10 Phase 3 films weren't sequels.

I don't see a reason why we shouldn't be getting 3rd GOTG film before Blade or F4, considering 7 (total with Vol.3) out of the 11 announced Phase 4 films are sequels anyway.

Its only a matter of time before they announce the 2023 slate or release dates for Ant-Man 3, Blade, GOTG3, and Fantastic Four. I think BP2 would be delayed and Ant-Man 3 would be released neXt year. I think later this year or in the summer, the announcements would be made.

Oh called it last week.

Weird though Blade was eXcluded in that video.

I am going to guess July 28th 2023 will be Fantastic Four and November 3rd 2023 will be Blade. Possible those could be reversed. But I think FF and Blade are the other 2 films for 2023

November 3rd is closer to Halloween, and seems more fitting for Blade than FF, which seems like a big summer movie.

The official Marvel site has Fantastic Four in 2023.

This feels rather obvious to point out given the chronology of where the F4 was placed in the video but we now know for sure that FF will be in 2023.

As the late, great, King Of Sweaty nerds Jon Schnepp used to say: “Phase 4 Fantastic 4!”

I'm surprised that they've announced Black Panther 2 ahead of a casting decision. Still, it's a good line-up, and I wouldn't be surprised if Blade and F4 made it into that 2023 slot.

What do you mean ahead of casting decision? We already know they are not recasting T'Challa. What casting would we need to hear first?

They may not be recasting T'Challa, but are they recasting the Black Panther is what I mean.

Are they going to introduce a new lead to take the mantle, are they going to give it to Shuri, or are they (somehow) going to avoid the Black Panther title altogether and reference it in some sorta' honoured way; similar to how an Ironman 4 would take place but with Rhodey rather than Stark. I know that'll never be the case, but if it did..

I dont think they need to announce that at this point to give us a title update and reconfirm the release date. All that will come in time.

I can’t be the only one who got childishly giddy seeing the FF logo at the end of the video, right?

It’s still surreal that F4 is home where they belong. It’s sometimes popular to trash popular things, but in these trying times these movies provide a flicker of light at the end of a very dark tunnel and I’ll always be always grateful for their existence even if I don’t make a dime off of them.
