Marvel Films MCU Phase IV!

Yeah, I'd be way more excited about an A-Force movie announcement.

Dark Avengers, Young Avengers and Iron Heart are all projects that have been rumored for a while. It's too early for FF, Disney just got their rights back.

Here’s how a lot of FF and X-Men fans are reacting to the possibility that a Iron Heart movie will be announced instead of the properties they actually care about.

Most fans don't care to have to sit through all of that to get to FF eventually. So what if Disney just got the rights back?

Well, it means that those projects (assuming Marvel is really working on them) are further into development than Fantastic Four.

Obviously that could change.

Ironheart is an awesome character - way more fun than Tony or the Fantastic Four. If Marvel actually makes that movie, I'll be thrilled. But I still find myself doubting if it will really happen.

Really? I’m only vaguely familiar with the character but she isn’t a generally well-liked character based upon the reactions I’ve seen. Of course, Marvel can change the character and make her more interesting than she was in the comics but I’d still be hard-pressed to say the debut of ‘Iron Girl’ is more exciting than the first ever MCU debut of the Fantastic 4.

I wouldn't mind an Iron Heart movie similar to how I don't mind IRON Fist in the comics, if only Iron Heart isn't so blatanly Iron Man 2.0 or a gender bend/race bend Iron Man and a completely different character especially in design/abilities. I don't like most legacy characters simply because lack originality. Yeah they are representing more female/minorities but they are also just taking the mantle of an already popular character. For example, why couldn't they build up Miles Morales from scratch, have his own design, have his own set of powers/superhero identity that isn't so similar to Spider-Man.

What I liked about Gotg when it became huge is they became popular because Marvel really built them up and took a risk by giving them their own movie despite being d listers. They didn't need to be Captain America 2.0, Spidey from a different reality, a gender bend Iron Man, a racebend Hulk and a legacy character of Ant-Man and the Wasp. This is why I am excited for Shang Chi and Eternals getting their own film.

People are still just assuming "it'll take a while before you see the FF/X-Men" to mean "we're gonna sit on it and do nothing with those properties for a while," I see. Y'all, it takes time and care to develop these things properly. Just because you don't see them for several years doesn't mean they weren't doing anything with them during that time. In the meantime, there are other things that are further along in the development process that we'll see first. That was always gonna be the case no matter when they got the rights back. The moment they announce a new FF or X-Men film is NOT the moment they decide to make one, it's the point where they have enough ducks in a row for it to feel confident giving it a deadline. They've already decided to make them, that's a guarantee.

I wouldn't be surprised if Iron Heart is released first. A legacy character vs an ip that will be rebooted in film for the third time with the last film bombing. Yeah its a no brainer, Iron Heart would be more successful, even though I personally prefer F4 and I don't really care about legacy characters.

Really. I have no idea how 'well-liked' she is or not (though I do know there seems to be a bizarre hatred of legacy characters in general which I've never shared, so if she isn't well-liked that's probably why and I couldn't care less). But she's a much more fun and interesting character to me than Tony ever was and I've never cared about the Fantastic Four in the least. Reed occassionally has an interesting story but Johnny and Ben are some of the biggest jackasses in marvel comics who I have absolutely zero interest in reading about/watching. And the terrible ways Sue is often treated by the writers are just painful to look at.

So Marvel may announce an Iron Heart movie next week?

Keep in mind, Marvel doesn't need to register @FantasticFour on Facebook or Twitter. They already have them (now that they've bought Fox) along with millions of followers.

Fantastic Four

With things that aren't already established (like Iron-Heart, Nova, Moon-Knight or anything they might even vaguely consider using over the next 20 years), they need to put a hold on those domains to prevent someone else from claiming it.

It's still not likely that we'll get an FF announcement on Saturday, but if we did, a couple of interns could do some light renovation on the existing FF accounts and have them ready to post a new logo to coincide with Fiege.

For reference, if you go to:

Log In or Sign Up to View ( marvelsdazzler )

You get the same result as

Log In or Sign Up to View ( marvelsironheart )

And both of those are different than a truly nonexistant page such as:

https://www.facebook.com/asddfsfsdsfs

Does that mean Marvel will announce both an Iron Heart and Dazzler movie on Saturday...

... or does it mean Marvel has reserved probably literally hundreds of pages for potential future use?

I'm going with the latter.

I'm expecting to see Marvel announce

Marvel's asddfsfsdsfs

on Saturday.

Me at the possibility of Marvel indeed considering a Dazzler movie in the future:

It still amuses me that you think you matter in thr large scheme of things. The fans, the fans.

Do you understand we make 10% of the people seeing these movies? Do you understand they are global blockbusters that do great MAINLY CAUSE OF NON-FANS? It doesnt doesnt what comic book fans want to see first.

IT. DOESNT. MATTER.

Fans may care more about F4, but I bet the GA will be more intrigued by a superhero movie about a black teenager. I expect a mini Black Panther hype on social media if this gets announced.

That's because Riri Williams, just like Carol Danvers, is the victim of a smear campaign started by a certain subspecies of nerds whose opinions simply aren't worthy of being listened to, as proven by Captain Marvel's success.

Iron Heart's current solo series is getting quite a lot of praise. Most people who hate her know nothing about the character except what cretinous YouTubers have told them.

I know basically nothing about IronHeart except that she's a "legacy character" of Iron Man. And I just don't like Iron Man. And I am aware it's unfair to judge her like that. But the shadow of Tony is still bothering the hell out of me in Spider-Man and I'd rather see him taking a good rest.

With that said, I'd be more excited to see other legacy characters like Kamala Khan and Miles Morales.

If they start retreading legacy characters with knockoffs I will quickly bow out of the MCU. I have no desire to see that. They need to let other original, maybe lesser known heroes shine like they did with GOTG.

It does when you atribute meanings to statements by Feige and then run it through a nonsense translator to make it out to be some silly tripe about how he was scared for the future of Marvel Studios.

PS Mr. Obvious Troll Is Obvious At This Point, I myself am not some reflective defender of Marvel Studios. I think about half, yes, half of the films they have put out so far are terribly overrated by the fanbase and after the high of AEG I was already incredibly disappointed in FAR FROM HOME. So I am no "Marvel Zombie". I criticize their product plenty. But your unfounded nonsense is just trolling at this point and you hide under the pretense of it being an opinion. But taking what Feige said and twisting it into what you say it means shows an untethering from logic or meaning. It's not even great trolling. It's common, garden variety immature fanboy projection. And it's pretty clear it's done for the attention you don't get anywhere else.

So please... Just stop. It's not a good look and it isn't really gonna give you what you need other than anonymous contempt.
You can disagree with you, I don’t care. But you need to stop the personal insults. That’s my point.

P.S. English is not my first language, so don’t discriminate.

Honestly the only way they could screw this off is to NOT do FF. They can honestly throw any other project they'd like to into the mix, no one is really going to begrudge Marvel the choice to play with their lineup of characters in anyway they wish. But if they don't have FF in the next phase somewhere they've missed a golden opportunity.
