Endgame MCU Post Endgame Speculation *spoilers*

So, how about that in the Spider-Man FFH trailer?

The snap tore a hole in our dimension, and Mysterio is from another Earth, according to Fury (who could be a fake Fury as far as we know)

Kinda hoping thats a misdirect
dealing with
characters from other dimensions crossing over can start to cause massive continuity-headaches for the uninitiated... I can already see my less-nerdy friends rolling their eyes the first time I say "oh that's {this person} from another reality, not the version we've come to know..." Spider-verse proves it can be done, but it takes a deft hand by the writers

Yea but those were very distinct dimensions with other-worldly looking creatures inhabiting them
that's not nearly as confusing plot wise as alternate-but-similar versions of characters from alternate-but-similar worlds can be

Now how about the theory that
Mysterio is a future version of Spider-man? That would be an intriguing twist.

Since its already been featured in the trailer, I'm not g0nna use spoiler tags. But introducing mv through a Spider-Man film. Idk. Then With Happy Hogan/Nick Fury/Maria Hill being in the film and Peter mourning about a certain character, it doesn't sound like an ideal Spider-Man movie.

the multi-verse thing could be a ruse by mysterio.

It has to be a pretty good one to fool Nick Fury and Maria Hill. Mysterio/Beck himself coming from it however could be a ruse.

Phase 4's big villain will be Noobmaster69.
Nah. He's probably busy playing videogames to confront the Avengers and the other Marvel ips. Plus noobmaster69 doesn't even exist in the comics. No more of him, please.

I would guess that means Peter's mostly secret identity is gone. At this moment I don't see a reason to con Spider-Man to bring him into any plan.
Well if Mysterio is not a refugee from an Alt-Reality and is in some way still divergent from the comics the way Vulture was who is to say he's not a rogue SHIELD agent or some such?

Of course... That's just it. If this is like with Toomes and they just rebuilt him from the ground up with nothing of the comics character present other than the name they very well could make him a legit traveller from another Earth and whatever switcheroo is in the third act is not dependent on classic Mysterio's usual modus operandi.

Assuming its actually Nick Fury, of course. And while, sure, several of the lines in the trailer would only make sense coming from the real Nick Fury as opposed to a fake. . . trailers lie, and what seem to be lines given in the same scene and same context, can very easily be from completely different parts of the movie.

Which is to say. . . the core emotional theme of the movie for Peter? Probably totally true. Everything about the plot mechanics? Take with a grain of salt. Its Mysterio, you are slightly more likely to get the unvarnished truth from Loki.

As for the "exposed secret ID" angle, honestly, that's just not that big a deal, overall. The concept of "The Secret ID Must Be Sacrosanct" just isn't a part of the MCU. It can be a useful thing, for some characters, sometimes, but it not being kept 100% secure is only as much or as little a problem as the people who figure it out. And no one automatically gets the idea in their head "I must spread this ID to the world!", because the idea that the breach of a secret ID is some unthinkable blow against a hero. . . doesn't exist.

If there is an earth with no Peter Parker/Spider Man then who does his earth have to defend it?
Surely this Mysterio is not the only super person on his earth if he exists.

I'm curious to know more about this hole that was torn and how it allowed Mysterio to come to the MCU earth and what this will look like as displayed on screen. Because this makes me think this wasn't the one and only hole torn...

Why would the only alternatives be "Spider-man" or "nobody"? There are dozens of heroes in the MCU prime timeline quite a lot of whom are much more powerful or skilled than Peter.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this guy, but here is what he ha to say about Marvel's plans for post-Endgame MCU. And I think we can agree that his credibility is pretty damn good.

People are posting this guy got X,Y and Z right in 2018 for AEG... Fair enough.

Can anyone tell me when he's gotten things WRONG though? That's more telling.

Strange introduced others dimensions
Endgame introduces others realities

Beck is from 833 and MCU mainstream is 616
People hope for Morales from 833 and others Spidermen from others realities
