Endgame MCU Post Endgame Speculation *spoilers*

As an aside, yes, the Hulk is still injured in the epilogue. This is hardly evidence of some kind of permanent crippling. It was only a few days, by most appearances. The Hulk normally heals faster; the Hulk also doesn't normally get maimed by the Infinity Gauntlet. There's plenty of room for outcomes other than "permanent injury", such as "it takes several weeks or months to get back to full strength".

My bet is Secret Wars, but instead of good vs evil. It will be Main Timeline Avengers vs all the ****ed up timeline Avengers

Secret Wars make a lot of sense in relation to 5 years time jump. It is much easier to infiltrate on mass scale plus CM introduced Skrulls already... Logical choice.

The skrulls in the mcu are our allies after cm events. There isn't that many of them either.

secret invasion is what you're thinking of. secret wars was the beyonder collecting all the heroes and villians and having them fight.

I'm assuming the team, atm, is:
-American Eagle (FalconCap)
-Capt Marvel
-Maybe Ant-Man & Wasp
-Hulk as the brains
-Rhodey
-Wanda

with Panther and Dr Strange as reserves

Sam accepted to succeed Cap, so Avengers remain
5 members: Cap Falcon, Rhody, Wanda, Spidey, and Hulk for sure, + Carol n Clint can come back sometimes if needed
About Bucky, he would accept to join avengers, he's close to Sam since 2 years
Antman n Wasp, i really hope they will join

Tchalla, Strange (+ hoping F4 later) are allies

But why Fury will need Spidey for mission, and not all the avengers ??? wainting for Far from home for explainations

Looks like a stealth mission with the black suit. Who better than someone who can climb walls and ceilings and has a spider sense?
Maybe it's a test?

As you say we'll find out in ffh.

I suspect Spider-man is not, in fact, an Avenger, not yet. He's busy enough finishing school and being a friendly neighborhood Spider-man.

Yeah and I think, without Tony, Spidey may distance himself a bit from it, and focus on his own life and his friends... plus who knows where we're at with the Sony deal, I don't see them keeping him from appearing again, but you never know

We have a lot of films between now and whenever the next avengers is. Eternals alone you could get sersi and eros.

I'm curious to see if the Eternals ends with the birth of Thanos.

I don't think they'll be related to thanos in the mcu.
Would mean their world is doomed whatever they do.

What are the chances the Tony that died in Endgame was secretly a Skrull? Would that ruin the death, strengthen that scene? I mean, wouldn't it be in the Skrulls best interest that they fend off Thanos' army as well?

I don't get why people are so fixated on having Skrulls secretly invade Earth. The whole "gotcha, this established character was actually a Skrull the whole time" thing seems like such a cheap gimmick storytelling move.

I’m really looking forward to Thor and the Asgardians of the Galaxy. He just fits in so well between Rocket & Quill.

GOTG Vol 3 - The Thanos Imperative

What does everyone think of that? Adam Warlock could be Magus with the Universal Church of Truth wanting endless life, so they bring back the being, with a vested interest in stopping that, to help prevent it. This would force Thanos into the next logical role for him as a reluctant antihero like Loki, and could introduce Mistress Death.

Yeah Thanos needs to stay dead. That particular saga is over, let it stay that way.
