Homecoming MCU Spider-Man Spider-Sense

Slang your not getting it I am saying how ever it's done for dd is for us the viewers to see how his power w9rks. I am not saying this is how the spidey sense should work. It could show us viewers how they will display a power that isn't visual to others on the screen. That is all.

Dammit, now I have to come back and reply. That would actually be the most emotional explanation for the Spider-Sense ever.

Also, on the topic of DD's Radar sense anyone else see something like Toph(from Avatar)?

I get what you're saying. What I'm saying is that how ever they decide to show DD's power to us viewers, it should have no impact on how they decide to show the spider-sense. The two abilities should not be displayed for the audience in similar ways.

Toph is using sonar, exactly like Daredevil is. So yeah, they should be portrayed in similar ways. Sound waves traveling out and hitting the outlines of objects.

Yay! I a good idea. Back to Spider-Sense though. Let's see what else is there to discuss. Aha!

How can it be used for humor? Perhaps Cap tries to sneak attack Peter and Peter flips over his head and Cap is dumbstricken.
Peter: Did I mention I kinda have this precognition thing going on?

I remember a time in the 90's cartoon where Black cat sneak attacks Spider-man and says 'tag, you're it'. His spider-sense didn't go off, and he wonders why. I assume that the spider-sense didn't recognize her as a threat, even though she kicks him in the back and knocks him off a roof.

Perhaps because he knew Felicia. Or maybe because Black Cat was playing and not intentionally trying to kill him.

So if Spider-man knew Cap or Cap wasn't trying to kill him, then Cap might be able to sneak attack him without triggering his spider-sense.

Speaking of funny spider-sense moments, in the Mysterio episode Parker sees a hologram of the museum roof caving in. He is scared before he realizes it's a hologram and then he says to himself 'I should have known it was fake, my spider-sense didn't go off'.
Later Spider-man is on the side of a bridge and Mysterio shoots a ledge, breaking off chunks of concrete that fall towards Spider-man. Spider-man sees the falling debris and says to himself:

"Ah, the old museum trick. I'm not falling for that ag... *spider-sense* Uh oh... *gets hit in the head by falling concrete.

Well what ever they do I hope it's cool effects. And I def like some humor quips with spidey sense.

I vote for a more psychedelic effect. Spider-man was made in the 60s. Make the Spider-sense groovy.

For a split second, everything around him looks like an Andy Warhol painting .

I actually watched the entire series last month. That bit was hilarious.

Perfect make the viewer think they're high for a second.

For some reason those images make me feel nostalgic as hell.

Psychedelic art doesn't have to be associated with drugs. People can see similar things while dreaming, while they're sick, tired or even if you stand up too quickly or rub your eyes. Aboriginal artwork can have a similar style sometimes:

Same, the 90's series had alot of colors in the background as well.

I've hated the spider-sense in both the Raimi films and in Webb's films. Hell, i can barely even remember them in Webbs film. I would like a real visual representation of the sense in this new Spider-Man re-boot. It doesn't have to be literally wavey lines coming out of his head like in the comics, or anythng as dramatic as in the 90's animated series where everything around him changed color, but i would like something like the area right around his head slightly distorting, or ripples (simiar to how the air gets disturbed when they show slow-mo bullets being fired in movies)….

..i just hope with this 3rd re-boot they take the opportunity to really think this power through, as it is Spidey's secret weapon and should not be an after thought.

Plus, make it consistant this time.

I liked spider sense with the music and stuff, but some wavy air lines might be cool too.

I am curious to see what they do and how they do it visually. Also I believe we had a thread on this topic awhile ago. But it's probably bogged down a few pages back.

So he sees nothing but a bunch of Campbell's soup cans??

Here's a thought: when his spider sense goes off, the source of the danger is shown on screen as suddenly getting hyper-vivid. The colors become brighter on whatever is the source, while any associated sound becomes emphasized with everything else fading out. It needn't be something shown all the time, but it might be a good way to portray what it feels like to Peter, in terms of a great big sensory "Notice This!"
