Since it has now be confirmed that Dr Strange will be traveling to the Fox-verse, that means it is technically part of the MCU. So now.............

Who you got peeps?

Eh...................you guys think it is a good idea to start to include the Fox verse guys in these contest? I mean, Jennifer Lawrence really sucked in it.

Cyclops in X-Men Evolution can use so much of his eyebeam he can hold Juggernaut in his tracks until he's taken care of, movie Cyclops has no interesting achievement, if any.

CAPTAIN AMERICA can block his beams with his shield and walk toward him, his super strength can help him endure the beam push and push himself forward and BAM, Cyclops is clobbered.

She's fine in First Class at least.
But eh, everyone is nerfed down in the Fox movies so much they won't hold their grounds in such battles. Quicksilver might be an exception.

Hmmm.....vs Fox Cyclops easily Cap.

Comics might be a slightly different story.

Cyclops is the ultimate glass cannon, able to blast through mountains but a normal human - although with a high level of training.
In an old Xmen Annual Cyclops was able to defeat the entire Xmen, in a Cat and Mouse type game where Mastermind made them all think he was Dark Phoenix. Of course shortly after that Storm with no powers beat him in a fight, which made no sense at all...

So yeah, Cap !

Captain America vs Cyclops:

Well, if this were the comics, it would go to Scott most of the time, due to having a pinpoint accurate mass area attack that he can riffle off super fast against an only peak human foe.

In the movies? Not so much. In one corner, we have a Cap who is considerably more superhuman than his comic counterpart, and whose shield can explicitly reflect energy attacks. In the other corner, we have a Cyclops whose skill and reflexes are unimpressive, whose firepower is kind of iffy relatively speaking, and who doesn't even clearly have his comics versions immunity to his own power.

Which is to say, unless the fight happens at a really obviously rigged distance, Scott takes a shield to the head before he can even reach his visor. And even if he could reach his visor in time, he'd probably just get his blast reflected back into his face. And even if he did manage to hit Cap at some point, based on the firepower he actually showed in the movies, he probably wouldn't take Cap out quickly anyway.

Also, wow did the Fox movies kind of screw over Cyclops. Poor guy.

Archangel was a punk who never even got a name and did nothing even remotely impressive the whole film. FalconCap wins easily.

If you're referring to the fact that he was portrayed as some jealous high school boy instead of a leader of the X-Men.... uhhhh....yeah....agree.

Are you calling him

??

If so, I have no defense for winged depressed drunk who was a kid in the 90s and became an adult in 1983 nobody in his wealthy empire cared to search for.

Had a terrible story and Fassbender was sleepwalking through the movie.

That's a fair comment, although he was still head and shoulders above most of the rest of the cast.

However, I was referring to how powerful he was in that film - extremely !

Sam as Cap wouldn't last very long against him at all.

Ummmm Magneto ?
I think most of his feats in that movie were either sidelined in favor of showing Apocalypse's powers, or when he was shown he was still less impressive than anything the character has done in Days of Future Past, or even moving the Golden Gate Bridge.

Well, I mean simultaneously destroying multiple cities around the world is clearly the high water mark for Magneto's power in the fox films.

A character being powerful just doesn't mean they weren't also underwhelming. Apocalypse was underwhelming, too.

Archangel vs Falcon-Cap:

Honestly, I barely remember much of what Archangel could do. I'm inclined to say Sam takes it, even his older Falcon gear still provided a great degree of shielding against attacks, he has multiple ranged options, and he is very, *very* skilled at aerial combat. The Sam-Cap gear, all the moreso.
