No contest?!

I don't know about Yelena, but Natasha is clever and flexible enough to win this. Dodge the vibranium spears and ladies from Russia win this one.

WIDOWS

And I'm sorry if you feel I overrate them with this vote

Widows vs Dore:

Depends on "How many Dore Milaje?" If its just two, then the Widows should take it. Okoye is superhero grade, but Natasha is ultimately the top of the heap of non-powered skill superheroes, and while Yelena isn't that good, I'd still place her as better than Generic Dore. Most conservative scenario, Natasha plays defensive against Okoye until Yelena takes out her opponent, then they double team.

( So how much does it take to flip the odds? My gut instinct is that Okoye + 3 Dore Milaje is the break even point, any more 'mooks' and the Dore will win it. If its *just* nameless Dore, than make is 6 Dore Milaje; imagine something like "two Dore take on Natasha and basically accept that their job is to occupy Natasha before losing, while the other four overwhelm Yelena and take her out, then everyone left dogpiles Natasha." )

The Dora's took on Bucky, Capn Sam and USagent...............I think you guys are clearly underestimating them.

Sorry I'm late, @Docker2.0 I got banned for a while, but now I'm back.

Honestly, the Widows should win....because they use guns and the Dora Milaje have no head protection. Spears vs guns, yeah guns win.

With a numbers advantage vs either actual pair, one pair of whom were inexperienced and the other weren't really trying to fight them especially ( and they certainly weren't cooperating ). There is a reason I preface every such match with "How many Dore Milaje?"

( Also, note that as soon as Bucky started taking the fight seriously, Ayo pulled out a cheat to disable his arm. That both suggests how she viewed their odds against Bucky, and also is not a move they would have available against any arbitrary opponent. )

That's tough. Taskmaster fought Black Widow and a nerfed supersoldier to a standstill - she has powerful tech and tons of plot armour.

Daredevil .....has fought really tough opponents, including ninjas, and always walked away. He's a hard bastard and never gives up.

First, we have to assume hand to hand and melee weapons only. Both have body armour....

I think the conditions would really make a big difference. If DD could arrange for darkness that might limit Taskmaster's ability to copy his moves.

I'm going with Daredevil, but only just - on the basis he fought Iron Fist and didn't get squashed.

Taskmaster.

DD never fought anyone with this level of tech or armor that I can recall. Iron fist was incompetent, which TM isn't and TM can copy DD's own moves. At the end of the day, Matt is a (extraordinarily stubborn and thick skulled) human wearing leather padding. He won't stand up to that suit.

I think you're selling Matt really short- leaving out his incredible skills at hand to hand fighting, and his superhuman senses, which Taskmaster cannot copy.

The other thing is I'm struggling to think of a particularly impressive fighting feat by Taskmaster, who is also just a human, and if you've seen Olga Kurylenko, you know she's lighter built than Matt, with less muscle mass.

She smacks Red Guardian around, but talk about incompetent fighters, the guy is comedy relief and that's it.

But what other impressive feats has Taskmaster got ? She fails to kill or even overpower Nat, despite having all the tactical advantages - mainly, surprise.

What level of protection does her suit provide ? Is it bulletproof or knife proof ? I don't recall it making Taskmaster particularly invulnerable to impacts.

All I see is a lightly built woman, with no skill advantage against a dude. Both have padding, that's it really.

Anyway, we'll see how the votes fall.

Well, first of all the suit is clearly not just padding. And I saw no indication whatsoever of her being injured by impacts through the suit. Whether it's bullet proof we don't know for sure *because TM has a bullet proof shield which caught every bullet fired at her*. (She also has Hawkeye's trick arrows and Black Panther claws and a random arm spike, incidentally.) That also isn't really relevant, since DD doesn't shoot people anyway. But getting punched by those gauntlets will clearly be a lot worse than getting punched by a regular fist.

Secondly, she absolutely does overpower Nat on the bridge. It's not a complete shutout but every individual confrontation they have in that scene ends with Nat flying and TM calmly continuing about her mission. And the only thing that actually puts TM down in the end is the destruction of her programming, not any kind of physical victory. I've said before that the Netflix series sometimes makes it seem like Daredevil's real superpower is sheer refusal to stay down no matter how hard he gets hit. But Taskmaster is literally the same but moreso. She *can't* stop, no matter what.

Her skill is on par or close to it with Nat's, which makes her at least on par with Matt if not out of his class entirely, and she has real armor and lots of tech which Matt has no answer for. And she can copy his own moves (which she does, incidentally, in a dark environment, too). He has his senses which are a mitigating factor, but not enough imo to make up for the fact that she, when she gets her hands on him, could easily shred his 'padding' while he has basically nothing that could make a dent in hers as well as the fact that she could literally just explode a trick arrow by his ears.

But, as you say, the votes will always decide.

Taskmaster vs DD:

Taskmaster takes it. Like, its not impossible for Matt to take the odd victory by freak chance, but 9/10, Taskmaster, because she's just better in every way. Between her skills/physicality and gear, Taskmaster was an opponent that Black Widow couldn't beat in a fair fight, and since Black Widow is better than Daredevil by a not-small margin, that is that.
