Difficult.

I feel that despite Stormbreaker Thor's immense power even he would tire and be overwhelmed by Ego's relentless attacks - he could literally bury Thor alive, under a mountain range. I don't think Stormbreaker could pierce the metal core to kill Ego before Ego wore him down. The battle could literally take years but eventually Ego would prevail.

Now if it was Thor and GOTG together - or even Thor, Rocket and Groot that's possibly a different story.

I will go Ego as well simply because to my knowledge MCU Thor has never the displayed planet-busting level power needed to take him out.

Think Sokovia is probably up there as his most destructive feat and even then that was only billed as a Eastern European country/city so could be anything from Estonia to Ukraine size but even then that's nowhere near enough and he was assisted by Iron Man in that destruction.

Suggestion......

Let's change it up a little bit. What about a team up of several characters and folks suggest a team of roughly equivalent numbers who could beat them in a scrap ( e.g. If someone puts up the Defenders people might suggest teams like GOTG + Nebula, or maybe Cap, Bucky, Widow, Falcon and Black Panther in response) ???

What about....

Captain Marvel +

Doctor Strange +

And Stormbreaker Thor ( before his depression weight gain )

Put together a team of up to 5 individuals who could beat the three of them in a fight ( no infinity stones, except Vision with the mind stone still attached to his head). Assume the fight takes place on Earth.
