I wasn't thinking that Yondu was part of the MCU GotG. Even so, IM or WM might have a weapon that renders it ineffective or destroys it. There's not a lot in MCU about its ability to withstand a destructive force; just about its offensive capabilities.

Star Lord is crafty, @Batmannerism is right with that one. And you're right about that snarky Raccoon mechanic.
That's true, but he was inside a ship when he destroyed it and that makes the metal motionless next to him. The flyboys duo have maneuverability, flight, and dashing speed to significantly help with their evasiveness.
I'm going with A BUNCH OF GUARDIANS either way.

Man it feels to finally have a new character to play with!!
OG Winter Soldier, 10/10.
If it was nerf Bucky from FATWS probably Taskmistress so as not to trigger anyone.
But OG WS, he destroyed Black Widow in seconds, she was barely an annoyance for him.
While Taskmistress has the fighting skills of Cap and the other Avengers, she's still dependent on a suit, but is otherwise human.....the WS is superhumanly fast, strong, tough and completely okay with shooting, stabbing or strangling her to death.
I think Taskmistress would be able to last longer than Widow, but sooner or later WS would overpower and kill her.

After his pathetic showing in BW, my money's on Red Guardian getting his communist ass curb stomped by Jordan Peterson...sorry I mean the Red Skull.
All Red Skull needs to do to win here is just to tell Alexei to clean his room.
Jordan Peterson jokes aside, I think Schmidt will take this one. He was able to hold his own against Captain America after all (although that version of Steve didn't yet have the advanced martial arts training he would acquire later on).
By contrast, Alexei's only feats are winning a bunch of arm-wrestling contests, beating up Russian prison guards, and getting his *ss royally handed to him by Taskmaster, who Natasha performed better against. In fact, its unclear if he's ever even fought another super-soldier, given his tall-tales about beating up Captain America. However, it is worth remembering that this was Alexei after he had spent the best part of two decades rotting in a gulag and putting on weight. He also didn't have his shield (he clearly did have his own shield once, judging by his action figure). Its a shame we didn't get to see more of Alexei in his prime, but based on the version we got in Black Widow, I can't see him winning here.
Its also worth pointing out that while Alexei certainly has a ruthless side (praising Natasha and Yelena for the red in their ledgers), he's nowhere near as vicious or murderous as Schmidt, who's just a straight-up psychopath.
Red Skull wins.
Oh, and Docker, thanks for doing this match-up!

No, I'm not even remotely bringing that one up. However, I feel that the Invaders should come into play since Cap was mention in Cap Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Falcon and Winter Soldier. We know that Steve goes back in time, there are threats in the past that he may or may not have fought without knowledge the future.Are you suggesting Cap/HT/Namor vs IM/BP/AM?
