Men In Black: International

So apparently the 2 paintings feature legends of MIB.
On one side we have Will Smith(Agent J) and Tommy Lee Jones(Agent K) in NY fighting that big bad alien from the end of MIB. On the other side, i'm pretty much sure it's Chris Hemsworth(Agent H) and Liam Neeson(Agent ?) fighting an alien in Paris.

So i guess that at some point CH and LN worked together as we also see in the trailer.

Call me whatever you wanna call me but make it sound posh: I'm not buying it! It was exactly the same as in the Jurassic Park movies.

The actors are cool, yes, but they added this TOO MUCH gene into it that it not longer resembles the original movie or saga/etc. It's another thing, completely different.

i wonder how Tessa Thompson character can make sense based on the first part of the trailer. She looks excited and energetic and later on she would become by the book agent ? As a contrast to Hemsworth character? her finding MIB is for the young viewers who dont know MIB so that Emma Thompson can explain everything. meh

neat callback to MIIB if that big alien in Paris is who I think it is.
Te one on the left is the guy from "The Shape of Water" and the one at your right is a 'roach from the first installment (?)

Is that Rebecca Ferguson they’re fighting? The one with the blue wig?

And it's a completely different film dude where they might be completely miscast together. I really shouldn't have to point that out.
You said they had no chemstry. Which is of course BS, which is why you are trying to change the argument. This is not a completely different style of film. It's another action comedy.

i find it interesting how little they show the aliens. since this is MIB you would think they would be more in the trailer.

the one on the left has vine-like tentacles

yeah, figured there would be more since that was the hook of the first movie and we're now being introduced to a new team. The sequels focused more on what J & K are up to.

It's the first trailer. They haven't been in post-production that long and the movie is still 7 months away.

Oh, my night vision must be not working properly! haha

I mean they both can do comedy so I'm waiting to see how it really goes. It seems kinda by the book from this but it's just trailer one.

From this it looks like the writing is terrible, not necessarily their performances. They're gonna throw every cliche in there.

It looks like it'll be better than the second, not as good as the first, maybe on par or slightly below the third film, and leagues superior than RIPD.

You can't fake that kinda cute.

remember when they picked the best music or song for a trailer ? remember where the lyrics didnt need to fit the content in the trailer? i mean this one and yesterday Hellboy? this trend needs to die and they need to again start create special trailer songs.

I do think it fits right in with the other MIB movies.
Taking into account the RT score for the movies.

MIB - 92% / Avg: 7.4
MIB2 - 39% / Avg: 5.2
MIB3 - 68% / Avg: 6

Just by looking at the MIB: International trailer, i would say it will likely end up above MIB 2 and 3. I predict a 75% on RT and an average rating of around 6.5 to 7. So i guess this could end up being the second best MIB movie.

Talking about music, have you heard Aquaman Pitbull's Africa version? Holly sh!t... we should do something about it.

I think the trailer looks great. I was already there opening night for Hemsworth/Thompson, but this solidified my confidence in the movie. Can't wait.
