I saw Rob Zombie with Korn a few years back. Both bands rocked. Saw Zombie with Disturbed a few less years back. Zombie stole the show.

Korn's new song "Cold" is pretty heavy. Its slowly becoming one of my favorite tracks since the Untouchable's era. Serenity of Suffering was a pretty great album too.

I need to catch up on Korn. Awhile back they changed up their sound a bit and I didn't care for it but I hear some of their recent albums are better.

I'd check out "Insane" and "Rotting In Vein" from their last album. But the newest song "Cold" is great. It took a few listens to really get use to the structure of the song. I wish it stayed heavy throughout it, but the chorus has grown on me. The scatting JD does in the beginning of the song will send you in a frenzy.

Pretty good Tool track. A bit too similar to Lateralus stuff in parts, but I really like the middle part "exhale, expel".

Looking forward to seeing this. And I hope to see a live gig in Plovdiv someday. Opeth, Anathema and Devin Townsend have played there in recent years...

Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal breaking into a vocal spot much to Jeff Scott Soto's shock and surprise?! LOVE IT! And is that a fretless top neck on his guitar too?! Impressive!!

I know it leaked, but I already pre-ordered it, so I'm not even going to DL the leak. I waited over 13 years for it...I think I can wait it out another 3-4 days. :funny:

Do you like it? Is "staggering" good or bad for you? :hehe:

I'd have never sought out the leak, but a friend texted it to me. It was just right there. All I had to do was click a link. I couldn't resist. I already paid for my pre-order and it's been long enough, damn it.

It's a good thing. A very good thing. Not a one of these songs is easy. They all feel deliberately long, in a good way. "Descending" is the early favorite. It has such a desperate, longing energy to it. Certainly the emotional peak of the album anyway.

Yeah, it’s good. I don’t like the filler tracks, but the actual songs are good.

It’s different. Instrumentally it’s more Tool, but Maynard’s vocals are different. I’m still getting used to it, but I do like it a lot. I do think it’s better than 10,000 Days. I think Pneuma is my favorite track right now.

I like the filler tracks more than on 10,000 Days. All of the actual songs are so massive and so demanding, that the interludes let you catch you breathe before you dive back in.

These songs are going to CRUSH live.

New Tool is great. I saw some criticism that the vocals feels like an afterthought and I guess I can see that. It doesn't bother me but knowing the band basically wrote the album and then sent it to Maynard and he had to write the lyrics and do the vocals on top of what already existed, it does kinda show I think. Still, really enjoying it.

I knew I should have pre-ordered the new Tool album. Hopefully Amazon gets more in stock, only able to buy from 3rd party sellers. Have it going for $150 on up. Ridiculous...

Of all the tracks on Fear Inoculum, I keep coming back to Invincible. I still need more time to get my head around the album as a whole. I don't think it's the masterwork some are hailing it as, but it's just good to hear Tool again and they sound great.
