where would you guys want to meet up at for some food/hype? somewhere in the cities? or in st. michael?

I'll be showing up for this, probably in full (non TDK) Joker gear.

As far as meeting up, there's not much in the town of St. Michael, but there's plently of places to eat in the city of Rogers right off the highway just a mile or two before the St. Michael exit.

As far as swag trade, I have some extra Gotham Times, some well-made GPD files with Viral reproductions, and cash. I'm looking for a Harvey Dent T-shirt, Wayne Industries Bail Bonds or any CFB stuff.

I can't go (of course Tuesday is a night I close at work and I was at a movie during the viral >< ), but St. Michael's movie theater is insanely nice. There's a LOT of food available at the concession stand (although expensive), but there is also a pub (can't remember if there's a restaurant or not).

I agree with GQ Joker - you're better off meeting in Rogers for food because there's a ton of restaurants available. Also, I work at the Target there so if you guys came in a big group it would make my night since I can't go to the movie. And Rogers, is as he said, right by the movie theater. I believe it's either 1 or 2 exits before the exit for St. Michael.

st michael really isn't that far away from minneapolis/st paul, so that opens up other possibilites, too. how early is everyone thinking of, as far as getting to the theater?

Realistically, St. Michael is probably 30-45 minutes from downtown Minneapolis depending on traffic, so I don't know if we would want to meet that far from the theater.

Since a couple friends and I will be most likely going in costume, we're probably going to try and get to the theater fairly early (7:30-8:00?). That way we shouldn't have any trouble getting a good seat as well. I have a feeling people will be lining up pretty early.

I think we can manage a stop in Rogers Target, Loni, let us know what department you're in and we'll find you (or you'll find us).

As far as eating, in Rogers there's a 50's style Denny's, an Applebees, a Davanni's Pizza as well as a bunch of fast food places.

A bit further back down HWY 94, in Maple Grove (probably 10-12 minutes before St. Michael) there's just about ANY restaurant you could think of; plently of fast food and sit-down establishments. Buca, Famous Dave's, California Pizza, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Hoolihans, TGI Fridays, Bennihana, Pittsburg Blue, Granite City, Champps, Don Pablos, just to name a few. It may all depend on how much time we have.

Come to think of it, I may have to eat before I get into make-up, but I'd be interested in getting together anywhere with the group, even if I don't eat with everyone.

Hmm, there must be more local SHH members going to this. Hopefully they'll chime in soon...

I just talked with my buddy and he reminded there's no cameras allow at the theater for the pre-screening, so it probably wouldn't be worth dressing up :(

So I guess I'll be just wearing my joker t-shirt. Well, it will be a bit easier to enjoy the movie I guess...

my friends and i will be cool to meet anywhere, and i have some cfb stuff to trade. I would like to get to the theatre at 7:30 or so as well. If not even a little earlier. So we could grab food somewhere at 5 or 5:30?

I'm cool to meet anywhere, but I have to be a little taxi service to my dad that day too so it all depends on when I get back. I plan on leaving Wisconsin at 4, that gives me 3 hours to get there so I"ll be there at seven and will probably just wait around the movie theater to get a good spot :)

If I can manage to escape away a little eariler then I'm cool to meeting somewhere and Rogers would indeed be our best bet. It's true I'm from WI but I've driven through that area enough to know whats what. So yeah.

Can't wait for Tuesday!

so, who is all bringing what swag to trade or allow for purchase? because I would like to get my hands on some stuff and will pay for it! not outlandish prices of course...

Once again I'll ask if anyone needs a ride, I have room for 3 others in my car, anyone between La Crosse and St. Michael just send me a PM

long time lurker.. new poster.. i got stuck in class last night when all of this was going down... have played in most of the other games and have some swag... looking for extra tickets? i live in st. paul... ANYONE .. can you help????

Since Chicago was sold out, I'm going to be making my way there from Madison, WI, I've got ticket #67

darkmike, pm The Joker about it, talk with him.

Sweet another person from WI from the boards going up :). And people thought it was a long drive from La Crosse to St. Michael.

unfortunatly im pretty new to this.. and have to sound completely ******ed for this.. how? ive always come in here and read and played along.. now i have to point out my stupid-ness. like i said.. lookin for any and all help.. really hating last nights class for this

Maybe we could keep a running list of all the SHHers who got tickets? And maybe make a note of any who are offering up their second spot to those less fortunate/skilled?

I've only been to Minneapolis/St. Paul one weekend to volunteer for the Obama campaign, so any meeting place/directions will have to be spoon fed to me.

Hi everyone! I'm from Minneapolis, and I and some friends will be there for sure! I got ticket #1. Oh yeah.

I'll check back to see if folks decide on a get-together spot beforehand.

Wooo! You've got #1 and I've got #2!!

I can start a running list, if thats what is needed.

Okay guys, I will be working at the Guest Service desk that evening - if you go to the Target and go through the left side doors (the sign above says "Expect More, Pay Less" I'm right next to the doors.

I am warning you all though that around 4 or 5 pm traffic is BAD - I mean insane gridlock somedays. I live in Maple Grove and I commute the 20 minutes to Rogers for work (yeah, I'm insane) and if I work in the evenings I get stuck in it. So, just a heads up in case you're thinking of meeting that early.

Maple Grove does have a TON of restaurants, but Rogers is your best bet since you'll be a lot closer to the movie theater. I'm so jealous of you guys - man I wish I could call in sick, but I don't have a ticket anyway haha. But I will be going to that theater for the midnight showing, hopefully.

Yeah I got stuck in downtown Minneapolis at 5:00 on a weekday and it was hell! That's exactly why I'm probably going to leave about one or two and just sit around and/or meet people somewhere, if that was the case I would get there at about 4.

Just cross your fingers that my dad makes me take him to Eau Claire Monday and not Tuesday :(

Hey im coming from Tomah, Wisconsin. Im ticket number 151 out of 152. I hope to bring a guest but one question, do i need to make a copy of my ticket and give it to them?

No, I believe you must just have your guest with you when you enter and the one ticket will get you both in.

Otherwise folks would just print lots of tickets and make it hell for the theater employees. :wow:
