Michael B Jordan IS Erik Killmonger!

MBJ killed it. It's either him or Loki for the best MCU villain. Pretty much undeniable that he's one of the best.

It'll be hard for me to see him as a villain if that is his role. He's been so lovable in everything else--Creed, Friday Night Lights, the Wire...

I had my doubts, but sure sounds like he knocked it out of the park/

Yeah, he goes straight into that MCU top tier.

Ahh,the days when fanboys *****ed about this guy.

People said he was a cr** actor due to what happened with F4 but forgot all the good work he'd done previously.

I remember people not liking that he was cast in F4 due to "nepotism" (their words), which is makes no sense because people have never before had problems with directors sticking with the same actors (like Marty and Leo). Heck, just look at THIS film.

Great performance. I really felt his pain. Especially when...

He spoke to his father beyond the grave.

That last line, man. Perhaps one of the best last lines spoken by a comic book villain.

In Fant4stic he was easily the best of the bunch acting wise.

Killmonger and Loki are at same level but I give the win to Killmonger because he reached that level in one film.

Not saying he wasn't but a lot of people downgraded him because of how bad that whole movie was.

This is probably the only time I've ever felt the villain's pain and sympathized with him in a CBM. I couldn't root for him because of the way he did things but he had a case.

His father should've had a bigger role imo

I liked MBJ it just made me upset he died. Put him a comma or lose a limb or something don't kill him

Sterling Brown is just amazing. Completely captivating and memorable in 5 minutes of screentime. I could easily watch a prequel of him in Oakland.

I wish they had him for another role or longer. He had such an impact in this that he becomes impossible to use again for something bigger.

Yeah. I know some people think the beginning dragged too long but I could have used more time in Oakland with his character and see his perspective on things. I loved it.

He’s Marvel’s best villain.

Was about to post the same thing.

MBJ is probably my most liked villain. Didn’t really hate him as much as I thought I would due to his motives. Can’t fault Marvel for presenting a very realistic villain. Much like real life, there are no black and whites, but lots of grey areas. This is something other comic book villains can’t seem to portray correctly.

He was the most relatable villain in the MCU by miles.

His last line memorable and swayed some audience members his way. His whole POV could be seen as grey he wasn't bad but went about things in a bad way by killing.

Is it too soon to say that some of the cast should be nominated for an Oscar? Namely MBJ, Danai Gurira, Kilmonger’s dad, Andy Serkis...best costume design...

They would be supporting actors, maybe Danai since she had the most screen time out of the ones you mentioned. Sterling K Brown was in 5-7 minutes really good minutes but that is not getting an Oscar nod and Serkis won't either.

I do hope they get some nods like GOTG2 and Thor 3.

I thought he made for a good villain. He was super cocky, disrespectful, and a huge jerk. But not really in a charming way like Loki. So he's not quite my top villain but he sure was good at getting you to hate him. I was so lookin forward to T'Challa kicking his butt.
