Michael Bay brings "The Last Ship" to TNT

I forgot all about him. Wtf happened to him? Did he die in last season's finale?

In "A More Perfect Union", Tex departs the ship to search for his wife and daughter. He locates the place they were staying and finds out that his wife was killed by looters but his daughter survived and is heading for where the Nathan James is spreading the cure. Tex goes after her, learning from an infected man (who he cures) that the Immunes are planning on exposing innocent people to the virus to destroy the people's trust in the Navy. Tex reunites with his daughter and teams up with a team from the Nathan James in Memphis to stop the Immunes. He succeeds and in St. Louis introduces Doctor Scott to his daughter while helping pass around the cure.

I think this has been the best season so far, I was disappointed Rhona Mitra is dead and they killed the hot hacker chick off straight away, but the scope of the story has broadened and the action has been great.

The way Valkyrie went out was suspect to say the least... I seriously think there're going to be a twist coming where she survived the plane, but was captured & is being held against her will somewhere.

makes NO sense to have her discover something we don't see then blow her up... there's more to that than we saw...

and i'm not just saying that to get more Tania Raymonde on my TV screen

Did the actor not want to return for this season?

I have no idea as to the reasons for John Ferguson and his Tex character leaving the series... I DO miss him, though...

wow, that ending and what President Michener did REALLY came out of nowhere...

If nothing else the show excels at being crazy unpredictable.

Talk about an unexpected twist...

Honestly did NOT see the prez killing himself coming... I thought he was screwing the blonde woman.

Mr. President never did have much of a backbone and has always come across as a person that wouldnt be able to handle the job so Im not surprised [blackout]he hung himself.[/blackout]

That being said, a part of me does wonder if this actually was a suicide. Maybe the blonde woman or someone else killed him and staged it as a suicide.

I think there is more to it than what it appears.

If only that call from Nathan James came in sooner. It would have given the pres a win to a brutal day.

I don't know who is behind it but the timing of his suicide is way too convienent. There is no way he did himself in. If not the blonde then someone who is working for one of the regionals.

Really hating that blonde lady more and more. Flipped the switch on Green real quick. Whatever she and the other advisor have plan can't be good. The new pres seems trustworthy but those two advisors will be keep him off-limits to all voices of reasons as they string him along to unknowingly do their bidding.

Whatever Valkyrie found out has finally resurfaced. Hope it doesn't kill Green, too.

Nice rematch bout between Wolf and the top MSS operative.

the wolf finally got that mofo..good
I don't like that blonde turning on kara like that
she should just go back on the Nathan James

I like that the wolf prevailed.

However, I thought it was ridiculous that Captain Squarejaw confidently commented that he wasn't afraid of a tiger because he'd brought a wolf. Well, in that scenario, you better bring a wolf pack, because a tiger will kill a wolf every time.

The way Blonde Law and Order Lady turned on Generic Female Crew Member # 4 says to me that Blonde Law and Order Lady killed Pseudo-President Keifer Sutherland.

On a side note, as much as I enjoy this show as an empty minded distraction, how telling is it that the only characters whose names I know are Captain Chandler (and only because I once dated a girl with that surname) and Tex, someone who has been written out, and incidentally, Tex was his nickname. :funny:
