But I could see the battle van working if they toned it down a bit or just used it in one scene.

It would be pretty bad ass if Frank put it in reverse and crashed it through a chop shop garage. All the thugs get up and grab their guns and frank kicks open the back doors of the van and there's a giant attached gun turret and he just mows them all down.

Well I'm fine with no battle van, but I know ALOT of disenfranchised Punisher fans who are also van owners and van enthusiests who are going to be pissed if they get ignored a third time around.

what the hell is the big deal with the battle van? i think a lot of you are picturing a van with missiles and lazers and all sorts of cheese all over it. the battle van is just a means of transportation for frank and his massive collection of weapons, as well as a mobile center of operations. makes all the sense in the world for him to have one and i hope it's in the film.

i didn't say anything about that. you're right on that aspect, after a while, someone might track the van. but actually, nobody in their right mind would think to even look for the punisher, it would take a madman to do that. anyway, all i was saying is that the van doesn't have to be cheesy and it could work for a few scenes.

Have you ever read any of the MAX comics yet? Frank drives a hummer in Black is White and Up is Down. He did in another one too, but I can't remember which one but Fernandez was defintely the artist on both. Maybe it was somewhere in The Slavers or Man of Stone.

turns out it's not exactly a hummer wolvie's got in his film anyway, but the hammer. it's a replica.

they might not be the most eco-friendly cars, but that scene in bad boys 2 kicks ass.

Its cold maybe there is a scene where micro fitted ice skates into his combat boots so all he has to do is click his heels together, the skates sping out and he chases down the bad guys... hmmm that sounds so familiar....
