Wii's catching up fast and still very hard to find now, that wasn't the case with 360. Maybe Nintendo knows what it's doing?
Wait, my 360 usually does the red lights and the "Call System Support" screen. But after a few Ons/Offs it works fine. Is my 360 in possible danger?
Well, the 360 was scarce until late Apr early May. I think, even if the Wii does eclipse the 360 in sales, that wont tell you much(i mean that system is a great deal at 250). I still think the 360 will sell more games than the Wii could ever dream of. Plus, the 360 still has that little tiny small game known as Halo 3, which coud possibly be THE single largest selling game of all time.
Interesting...
If it can outsell Super Mario Bros. 3 or Super Mario Bros., the two best selling games of all time, then I won't ever say a negative thing about 360. It'll sell well, but I don't think it'll even outsell Nintendogs, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Brain Age, or New Super Mario Bros. Stranger things have happened, though.
You’re right, Halo won’t sell more to the people that buy those kinds of games. But the people who play Nintendogs are usually little kids. The main demographic for gamers are teens and early adult males.
Apparently not, if "those kinds of games" are the ones that are selling more. But I think you're wrong, Nintendogs is being bought by everyone, not just "little kids."
...And have you ever played Halo 2 online, ever? THAT's a kid fest.
EDIT: I just realized that what you said is counter-intuitive. If the "main demographic for gamers are teens and early adult males," isn't that demographic also responsible for the success of Nintendogs?
Nintendogs is a hand held game, handhelds appeal more to children (except for the PSP).

The PS1 definetly had its share of problems. I remember having to put that thing on its side for it to playHeres the real question, how come this **** never happened to sixth gen consoles?
Yep, id be ready man.
If a 360 suddenly dies down, what happens to the Hard Drive attached to it?

Super Mario Bros.: 40.23 million units
Super Mario Bros. 3: 18 million units
Halo 2: 8 million units
In case you were wondering.
I've had my 360 for about 2 months now, and it's constantly saying "Disc is dirty or damaged". And it seems to happen the most on Rainbow Six and Gears. And I bought both games brand new, and handle them extremely carefully. It gets really annoying when you put the disc and it says reading, then immediately goes to "open tray". I really don't want to buy a new one.
I have a friend who is on his 3rd 360, his first one was a launch, he had it for about 8 months, then it crashed. So he got another one, and the same thing happened with that.
Wonder if Sony will admit the flaw that PS3 has; ****ty games and online![]()

I wonder how many of these 360 failures are because people do stupid **** to their 360, like keeping it in a small enclosed space, or moving it when the disc is playing?
True story, not ****ing around:
My best friend bought his Elite yesterday. I just got off the phone with him a few moments ago, and he got the red lights. He's packing it up to return it to Best Buy. This marks his third Xbox 360. People, this is beyond stupid. My old 360 crashed.
I'm not ****in around.
