I'm literally shocked by this news. This is incredibly sad. I've been a fan of his since I was 12 years old, and have been following his blog since it's inception. From Newsarama:

I don't know if anyone here reads Penny Arcade, but the artist of the comics commented on Ringo's death in today's update. His entry is under Tycho's.
He does. The fact that he maintained a blog with daily sketches and updates was a nice means of reaching out to his fans.
I'm hoping Marvel does a Marvel Visionaries Hardcover for him. I really love the JR Jr. one they did, and it would be a really nice gesture. I can think of so many great Spider-Man and FF appearances that would be perfect.
Is not a question of if being a comic book artist is stressful, it's a question of how much stress one puts on himself. There are people who can deal with stress better than others. Think of having to draw 22 pages on a deadline, dealing with the writer, having to talk to editors, the last minute script changes etc.
I think this may be his last Spider-Man sketch. I remember seeing that a few days ago and being able to tell Mike was really inspired for this one. All I want to do is go back and look at all my Ringo-drawn comics.

I love that image. Anyone wanna scale it down for me for an avatar?
Photojones, I just sent a PM to Jen Grunwald over at Jinxworld. She's Marvel's collections editor. Hopefully she can pull some strings and get us a nice collection in Mike's honor.
Oh my god. Damn. This came out of nowhere.I'm literally shocked by this news. This is incredibly sad. I've been a fan of his since I was 12 years old, and have been following his blog since it's inception. From Newsarama:

Ringo's artwork is synonymous with the modern Spider-Man, as well as being one half of the creative team for one of the best runs Fantastic Four has ever had. I'd be surprised if Marvel doesn't do one.
