Often times people pitching their ideas for movies, cartoons, and various other stories, use very identifiable things to get a vague idea across when it is really more complex than that.
I'm not saying that Miller is doing that with Johnny (or any of them) maybe Johnny will be a male Paris Hilton. Or maybe he is just saying something like Johnny is the most recognizable FF member, likes the limelight, and is alway always in the tabloids and fallowed by poparatsie because he is young, attractive, and a member of a very famouse and powerful family.
Who knows.

Reed doesn't necissarily have an illegitamate kid either, it could be a scam. Like when that one woman tried to say she was Bill Cosby's child when (I think) they proved that she wasn't later on.

two things that bothered me, but not a whole lot, was that Alicia Masters isn't Ben's girlfriend (when did that happen?),
and Miller implying that the art is better than Kirby or a few others who did a very good job after Kirby.

The BIG reason I want to buy it right now is to see the art. Not sure about that either, but it might be really interesting to see the FF drawn in such a realistic style.

At this point, without seeing any pages from the comic, I don't know what it will be like.

One, even if a kid turns out NOT to be Reed's kid, is that really a story you want to read? I don't.

Two, I agree with you about teh Alicia thing. I'm glad I enjoyed the Thing/Alicia story in MCP so much, only to have Millar come in and completely ignore that relationship.
