Tom Cruise was horribly miscast in The Last Samurai IMO

Is that one of those Last Samurai jokes or are you serious?

You know what I fine insanely amusing is your avatar. I love that dance!!

The Last Samuri did not catch me like I wanted it to. Yep I blame Tom Cruise.

I dug Last Samurai. In fact, I think it's the only Tom Cruise movie I do like

Well the irony about miscasting is that in some cases you get a movie that's really good potentially but sucks or his hamperd by a miscast in the lead role. And yet that actor is the executive producer (See Kutcher in the Butterfly Effect and Cruise in Last Samurai)

Keanu was miscast in that but all things considered Constantine turned out to be a good one.

Cruise in IWTV? hmmmm...eeeeh he did ok. Again that was a case where he may have been miscast but he still did ok. And that's the second phase you gotta look at: Can a person be miscast but still do well in the role all the same or is that too much of a paradox?

Well, everyone thought Michael Keaton as Batman was the biggest miscast in the history of film, and yet he was later regarded as the definitive Batman until Bale came along.

Minority Report for me was a bit better...maybe because it had sick sticks ??? ha

The Butterfly Effect has proven to me that Ashotn Kutcher is bar none the worst actor in the film industry today.

I ask that you watch Colaterral followed by some episodes of Miami Vice for no other reason than miami Vice kicks ass.

Yeah Collateral was a funny one. Cruise did good in that but for some reason I didnt like it because I felt like it was trying to be like Training Day (set in LA for a day, a "good guy" actor playing the "bad yet charismatic" role). I mean this was just me who felt like that and the ending was a little corny to me but everyone else liked it so go figure.

Nah it's great when she arrives (nude + hair is down) but then hair gets put up and she gets clothes!

I thought the point was to cast a hot blonde as a killing machine. That really aint miscasting that's kinda on the point. it's another thing if you didnt like the idea of the character in the story but as far as casting goes that one was on point pretty much.

I think the look was ok but the acting in general did not live up to my expectations bud. :)
