More Exclusive Story Info About the Jla by Patrick Sauriol

I still don't see why Nolan would walk if JUSTICE LEAGUE is successful. It's not like he bothered to use Talia in BATMAN BEGINS. If he's planning on using her for BATMAN 3, I'd say he's a day late and a dollar short. His Ra's Al Ghul arc is pretty much done with, and if he wanted to do it better, he should have.
so its hes fault that WB might use the ra's family in JL? for christ sake so he should tell hes whole trilogy plan before BB so that WB wouldnt use the same characters?

Welling never wearing the suit makes a big difference, IMO. Plus, it wasn't like he was appearing on the big screen. We are talking about multiple Batmen, Superman and Ra's appearing in movies which makes it harder to swallow. It's easier to separate tv and movies.
We're talking 2 of each here. I still don't get the big deal. It's not like there are 4 of them running around at the same time.

Pretty much. If Ra's were to return, I'd have expected him to appear in a larger scope of a film, and JL is just that. Add Talia into the mix and this has the possibility of the Ra's story that he deserved in the first place. :o

What does "fault" have to do with anything? You people need to get over this "Chris Nolan created Batman" delusion you have. Nolan did not utilize Ra's Al Ghul to his full potential in BATMAN BEGINE (I.E, he relied on the "twist" aspect of his Ra's Al Ghul portrayal, and he forgot to include Talia). I have no problem with another director building on what Nolan did and including Talia in the mythology. It provides a connection to the Batman franchise without stepping all over it.

Again, the only way I would understand Nolan being pissed (and we don't know if he is or not) is if he planned some enormous crossover Batman 3 involving Ra's Al Ghul, The Joker, Two-Face, etc. But I imagine he would have said something to WB if that was the case, don't you?

Geez, who's going on about "Nolan creating Batman"? I just don't want Ra's because I just saw him and would like to see another villain. Is that so wrong?

Eh, well it depends. I personally love Ra's as a character. And while we already saw him in BB, he was heavily under-utilized imo. Was barely a villain in that entire thing if you ask me.

Plus with the removal of the Lazarus Pits and Talia, just makes it more apparent that Ra's has much to do as a cinematic villain.

good post. but i dont think that nolan created batman. when people said that darkside should fight in a superman mvoie people said that he is tobig for superman. he should be in JL. now we are getting a JL movie where there is no smart supervillain.

:D sure you can ! :)

i just don't like people 's dreams crushed ,:o but i will just shut up and let you dream :o :woot:
( in best elvis voice) thank ya, thank ya very much...:D
Seriously though, this is sounding just fine the way they have it. I just hope they get the casting right now.

No, that's not so wrong. If I misunderstood your statement, I apologize. But some fans around here tend to have this "Chris Nolan used Ra's so no one else can" attitude.

I would also prefer someone like Vandal Savage, Darkseid, The Legion of Doom, etc. IF...they weren't doing this particular storyline, where Max Lord just isn't enough. I think an Al Ghul connection is the right move here.

Darkseid is way too big for the first film. I'd save him for the second or third.

There is no doubt Ra's wasn't used to his full potential in BB. But to have one movie(BB) where the twist involved Ra's and to have another movie(JL) where a twist would involve him as well, I just can't get too excited over that. Even if we were to get Lazarus Pits and Talia.

No prob.

IMO, a JL movie is just begging for Darkseid.

Btw, do we really know Ra's is even in the movie or is this just speculation?

Well it's playing off the immortality angle. Something that's been done multiple times in the comics. Everything shouldn't rely on the twist(s) anyway. If the writing is good and the character's potential is reached, then the big reveal should be inconsequential in the overall picture.

Sorry, sounds weird to start the first JL movie with what appears to be the funeral of a hero. I won´t give this any more credit than the other leaked script. This sounds like that other previous story that the script was about one of them going bad, which I think is entirely wrong for a first introductory JL movie. I´m gonna wait and see an official synopsis, teaser, etc.

If Darkseid is in the first JL flm, where do you go from there? How do you top that?
thats why JL needs to be after batman and superman. darkside is to big for superman. ok. you can have brainiac. then make a JL movie with bale and routh and the villain should be darkside.
everything would be fine.
but noooooooooooooooooooooo :o

You were all ready to completely write this film off a few days ago, because some "sources" said that previous (what is now known as a FAKE) script was the real deal.

That script leak was shut down by the studio without any denial of being real till now, which is usually a sign of being real. This doesn´t have any more reason to be credited, since it comes from some of the same sources that had also "confirmed" the previous script. I´m tired of this constant contradiction of sources and am gonna wait for something official that I can actually talk securely about, which I had already mentioned but of course you conveniently edited out of my quote.

That sounds better. At least that would set up a Flash franchise with Wally West as the lead. But Ra's Al Ghul again?

So Flash is on the rooftop, but someone dies. Wally West can't be introduced as an afterthought.

What they should do. Is have Max Lord as the bad guy. But, we never see who pulled the strings until one of the last scenes...After he is defeated. We go to Apocalypse where we see Darkseid sitting in his chair watching the events unfolding. Then have him say something about having to take care of the JL himself. Then the screen cuts to black. Of course he will be voiced by Michael Ironside. :)

This was reported by someone else though. A guy that isn't related to IESB and has a proven track record.

I left it out because I didn't want to make your actions more contradictory than it already seemed to be. But if it has changed because of the varying reports, then fine. :oldrazz:

Well, this sounds good. It's nice to have good news finally.

I don't think we'll see Ras at all in this film, but his name will be thrown around as a suspect. Talia would be my guess since they are fusing the Omac/Babel storylines.

I really hope the JLA films do not turn into Batman films guest staring the JLA . Unlike Wolverine in X-men, Batman is on the big screen (on average) every 3-4 years. I've seen enough batman for now thank you, I hope the sequels focus more on the others.

But if the point of this movie is to launch the solo franchises, would there be a sequel?
