I would think there would be some kind of Quicktime download & what not after the initial viewing. As I highly doubt if you don't view the original stream you don't watch it. That is not the way to gain interest in these to get popularity to make a movie

The fight scenes in the first film are complete garbage, especially the ones involving Linden Ashby and Bridgette Wilson. I really wish folks would take off the nostalgia goggles when it comes POS Anderson's cinematic abortions.

Wow, the new Sub-Zero looks pretty cool! The guy making the series could take it easy on the contrast, though. I get that he's trying to go for the whole modern 'gritty & realistic' visual style by boosting the contrast way up and washing out the colors a bit, but sometimes it can be overdone to the point where it just becomes an eyesore.

While I love the look of Sub-Zero, I think the screenshot itself is an example of poor image composition.

That is not a Mortal Kombat trailer. I know it is....but this creams prequel to a better and bigger thing (series or movies). Anyhoo, I'll watch it Tuesday just to support it. Glad it's not a pay webseries on iTunes anymore.

If these are successful we will get a live action theatrical movie taking place at the tournament with this cast & world & are there 9 or 10 episodes ? I like the idea of using the webisodes to introduce everybody & then everyone meets on the boat in the movie

That article heightened my anticipation for Tuesday. Now I see they released two photos of Scorpion and Sub-Zero in their respective habitats. I must say that I am loving what I see from them.

Sub-Zero's costume is amazing and manages to fittingly update his simple design without going overboard. I am of the belief that less is more when it comes to the ninjas. With Subs, he has a suit that he can aesthetically call his own and gives him more of an identity. The design automatically speaks of an individual who thrives is very harsh, cold environments. I like the fur but I don't know how I feel about the leather neck pad. I fear that it may clash with the overall look of the suit but I will hold off on judging that design choice after I see the whole costume.

As for Scorpion, my reaction is simple and sweet. His costume is friggin' lovely. In its simplicity, it not only remain faithful to the original game but it adds a sense of modernity. It doesn't look as durable as leather but I am loving that fabric that they chose for the yellow tunic. It almost has like a greenish sheen to it. Not to get off topic, but this is the perfect example of how to adapt a simple costume for Superman. It is ultimately not about an overhaul in design that makes for modern changes but the materials that you use.

I love that they want two seasons to introduce everyone & then hopefully a movie. The best part is if each Season is put on DVD in movie form we will have two full Mortal Kombat Movies & the Theatrical one would be the third one. I love it

And I am glad to hear that he is not omitting Liu Kang but merely saving him for a big story arc in season two. That sounds reasonable enough to me.

that seems like the most likely scenario. these 10 episodes will serve as an introduction to the characters and will eventually buildup to the tournament itself in the movie.

Well the Director in the most recent interview posted above said he would like a Season Two to get more characters in & that Liu Kang & Kung Lao would be involved. So if this is good then another 10 episodes with more characters then the movie

seriously, this thing needs to exceed quickly and greatly, i would love to see a season 2 that explains more characters (even tho we are getting quite a bit here) and it would be such a shame for these not to lead into a movie. they already look like movie-made episodes, not cheaply filmed, so it would be so nice to see these stir enough of an interest to make a film that these actually lead into with the same actors and characters. as much as i would love there to be 2 seasons of these, i think the ultimate goal, like he said, is to get a film made and since these arent trying to be a contained movie in themselves, itd be great to have the backstory we never really got on a lot of characters. and if these were to lead into a film, i sure hope they would keep the same director and let him have total control over everything so these flesh well with a film, just a slightly larger budget.EXCITING!!!
