Mortal Kombat: Legacy

I think it will be two parts of them together similar to Kitana and Mileena.

The last two have actually been my favorite episodes so far. in over all presentation I think they have been the most unique and interesting. I actually like the animated bits, it reminds me of the kill bill scene with the flash back mixed in with the recent motion comics that have been released like for watchmen. The only episode I really didn't like so far was Johnny cages, it was alright but it didn't really didn't interest me.

I don't think i've gave my two cents about the series so far, I do admit it's not going as good as I hoped so far. Yeah there's some great moments in the webseries but in general, it just seems hollow. I kinda hoped we get to see something as good as The Assassin's Creed: Lineage shorts for Mortal Kombat in terms of SFX. Then again, i'm not sure how much they got to make those shorts and how much WB gave MK:L to shoot their shorts.

Very curious to see how they will go about doing his episode.

Here's hoping for straw hats and many shouts of pseudo-Japanese jibberish.

Very interested in this Raiden episode, can't wait!!

on his twitter he said its in the tone of the rebirth short...im even more excited now

Mortal Kombat: Legacy - Ep. 6 - Raiden Is up.

Raiden episode is up and it is pretty damn cool! the tone felt very much like the Rebirth trailer. great introduction to Raiden. probably the best episode so far.

the Blue chick is pretty cute. wonder what's her story and whether we'll see more of her later.

Best Episode Yet...felt a lot more like Rebirth like Green Day Mentioned.....Now that felt like MK...well at least at the end lol

I hated the introduction. Who exactly asked for a gritty "realistic" MK anyway? And Raiden falls to Earth in...white pajamas?

Acting-wise, it was pretty good.

Raiden's natural form is probably that lightning orb we saw after Blue "killed" him, and when he takes human form, he simply gives himself basic clothing, which just happens to resemble his MK1 attire.

Great episode. This and the Cage one are the only ones that have pleased me thus far.

Really cool take on Raiden. Good episode. Could have done without the text intro at the beginning.

Some people are actually complaining about how he didn't throw lightning at the orderlies or just teleport out of the hospital. I think the point of depowering him is so he can realistically enter a tournament and fight humans. He seems to have some abilities under the right circumstances, but using them probably won't be so effortless. It never made sense to me anyway that a full fledged god could enter a tournament to fight humans when gods are supposed to be extremely friggen powerful and immortal.

I don't think Raiden would want to kill them, even though they tortured him.

I took it as though his powers were limited but that "vessel". And Blue killing it released him.

Well I understand why he put it up. There's been a lot of anger over the direction of MK. He wanted to clear the air.

As for the episode, I think that this is the best one yet and made up for those crappy Kitana/Mileena episodes. Though I have one question:

If Raiden was a god, why didn't he use his lightning powers to get out the prison, and if he was a human, how come he was able to resurrect himself like a god?

I think when Raiden takes human form in this, he doesn't have all of his godly powers, or they're atleast more difficult to use. And he only resurrected once his human form was killed and he could return to his normal state and try again.

I wish they could just do an actual cable TV series instead of all this web series business. I know there was a Mortal Kombat TV series on cable before . . . but it was crap . . . and basically just do this show except on cable like USA or SyFy.

I liked the episode, though this Raiden didn't really feel like the wise guy I'm used to see, but at least it was way better than the Edenians episodes.

Can anyone explain to me why they were hammering Raiden's eye? What was that?

I didn't get a chance to see this episode until just now and holy crap talk about a rise in quality. This is my favorite episode so far, A lot of great moments in this.

It's called a lobotomy, it was commonly used back in the day for treating mental patients.
