I'd like another solo Superman film at least. Braniac as the villain.
I'd prefer...
MOS: Zod
BvS: Luthor
Justice League: Darkseid
MOS2: Braniac
Wonder Woman: Ares
The Flash: Zoom
Batman: Hugo Strange
Agree with all of those, except Hugo Strange. Never even thought of him as a particularly good Batman villain (but that's just IMO), I reckon the next Bat-film either needs to reboot the Joker, or have a team-up
For a straight out Batman film.....What about Joe Pesci as a really psychotic and scary Penguin ( drawing on his portrayals of psychotic scary mobsters -who have sqwaky voices and look a lot like the penguin, in Goodfellas and Casino). The character could be really well adapted for the screen.
Anyway, team him up with Edward Nigma (the Riddler) a computer hacker, who holds Gotham hostage. Batman has to solve a series of diabolical riddles to see where he'll strike next.
Just thinking, off the top of my head here.
I'm not saying we should go 100% Nolan on the portrayal, but bring the characters into the 21st century.
As for JL, Darkseid all the way, and MOS 2, Brainiac
there's some great source material in Geoff Johns JL : origins, and in
Superman:Brainiac, with the latter being one of my favourite Superman stories.
Anyway, let's hope WB has a sensible plan and can put these films out at a decent interval. ( in 2016 Henry Cavill will be still only be 33, so he could be doing Superman films for quite a while).
On the whole back-to-back note, the Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings were shot together. While the Hobbit isn't the triumph that LOTR is, it's still pretty good for the genre, with part 2 being far superior.
As such, there is probably a case for doing B v S and JL together. (just hope they don't make the same mistakes they did in the Matrix films, yuck !)
The cliffhanger ending is a tried and true tactic ( hell, that's probably the only reason people went to see Matrix revolutions, but also what packed out cinemas for Return of the Jedi, I remember lining up for hours to see
that back in 1983 ! ).
Regardless, looking forward to seeing the JL onscreen at last.
Peace out Super-fans
