It's not impossible. James Cameron is doing it right now with Avatar 2, 3, 4.

And WB has no problem doing this:

- Lord of the Rings 1, 2, 3
- The Hobbit 1, 2, 3
- The Matrix 2, 3
- Harry Potter 7, Part 1/Part 2

And WB needs a big franchise/series, and they no longer have any of the ones above.

Before you call BS, really think about it. That is totally in WB's wheelhouse. They have the budget. They know it'll make insane bank. There's no question the money's there.

Dude, before you all go crazy on me, I'd actually WANT a three part Superman/Batman series.

1) A true sequel with Batman (and WW) playing a minor role. 2) A Trinity Sequel)

Where did the oil rig was? in the sky? there were sea scenes. and the reference of aquaman was the word "trident" not to mention the previous rumors that aquaman may be in the movie.

A scene in the ocean is not a reference to Aquaman, the ocean is most of the surface of the planet. Because that means The Dark Knight had an Aquaman reference, because Bruce goes swimming in the ocean.

Agreed it was speculation. but none of those movies have a scene where smth fishy happened in a installation on the sea.
Guess we'll find out if there was smth.
