I don't think the "real time" tie ins are more valuable compared to the opportunity to tell a tight, straightforward story with a sound beginning, middle, and an end. A Netflix style approach would force the writers to tighten everything, agree on a direction and tempo to the build up to the climax, and basically separate the wheat from the chaff. One of the reasons Agent Carter was so well received was that it was basically a Netflix type show revealed over 8 weeks, unencumbered by MCU developments outside of the show.
I think two 10 episode dumps every six months on Netflix could still incorporate movie developments yet allow for a more focused narrative. October 2013, 10 episodes to set up Agents of Shield, maybe deal with a dedicated opponent behind the scenes to lead to a finale (develop AIM better than IM3 did). June 2013, 10 episodes that deal with aftereffects of CWS vs. Hydra. October 2014, 10 episodes to deal with Kree on earth and Inhumans. June 2015, 10 episodes to deal with aftereffects of Ultron and continuing slowburn consequences of Inhumans...October 2015, set stage for Civil War, ect. Doing all of this with tight, tight narratives, covering much of the same ground as the ABC show has, just...focused and thus better.
