Movies you didn't think you'd like, but loved.

I thought Just Friends was gonna' suck, but I was almost on the floor laughing.

Just like, around the same time The Ringer was coming out on dvd so was Grandma's Boy, GB came out first, and I thought I was going to like the Ringer more, and it turned out the other way 'round.

GB is a really good movie and was way better than the Ringer.

grandma's boy was awesome (so was just friends).... and yeah, the ringer did kind of suck.

Monster House
The Departed
The Birdcage
Superman Returns
Daredevil: Director's Cut

Super Troopers, i remember seeing the previews and thinking it was going to be horribly bad, but became one of my favourite movies when i actually saw it.

I rented Night of the Hunter on DVD once just cause one of my teachers mentioned it in a lecture earlier that day. I figured that it would just be a straight up horror slasher flick until I got through it.

And it has to be one of the most poetic and vicious films I'd seen in years.

Night At The Museum. The previews and trailers made it look really crappy and lame. But, I thought it was pretty good after that.

I didnt think id like Batman Begins as much as i did, the same apply to the matrix, and X-men.

As for movies that arent blockbusters, i loved wedding crashers, and just friends. I never expected that.

A Prairie Home Companion comes to mind. One of my older friends dragged me to it, and the only thing I had to go off of was the one sheet at the theater(which sucked). However the movie is without a doubt one of my favourites.

The Girl Next Door is probably next(Ha!), not because I wasn't expecting it to be good, but because I thought it would provide a few laughs and a TON of wicked hot babes. Damn, I was wrong. A few hot babes, but ****ing HILARIOUS, and just damn good. Also, the best film villian in recent memory(Kelly).

Hitch...I was actually suprised by how much I liked it

Mean Girls
Ice Age
Harold and Kumar
Hitch
The Gladiator
Mission Impossible 3
Romeo + Juliet
The Basketball Diaries
Twelve Monkeys

For me was 'Cellular', when I first saw the trailer in the theaters, I was rolling my eyes and now is one of my favorites.
