Movies you loved at the time but don't much care for now.

Independance Day is the big one that always stands out to me.

Superman Returns springs to mind. So many things in it they got right. I had goosebumps in a few scenes. But in the next couple of days really thinking about it, there was alot of stuff they got wrong. I still like it for what it was, but it could've been so much better.

One of mine is "Masters Of The Universe".

Okay-but I was really looking for something from more than 3 weeks ago.

Oh, here's one that I'm going to get a lot of flak for, but I can hardly even watch Spider-Man 2 now. I really can hardly stand it. I don't know what it is, but I really dislike it. I only like the first Spider-Man a little bit more.

I'm the same way. I loved SM2 in theaters, but I've come to like it less. The fight scenes are really cool, but some of the writing is...meh. "The power of the son in my hands!!":down

The other way around for me.

I really liked Spider-Man, but bleh. That montage of New Yorkers being interviewed and him stopping crime kills the whole movie in my eyes.

It's weird, because I loved it so much when it first came out that I saw it something like 4 times in theaters. I guess it was that over exposure that showed me so many of the hideous flaws in the movie.

Few more...

Wild Wild West
Tomorrow Never Dies
Star Treak Nemesis

I don't think I really loved any of those, but I thought they were good.

I agree with some of these. TMNT 2, Spawn, Popeye, and The Mummy really weren't all that great on hindsight. I actually I always hated TMNT 3 and Meteor Man. I still love Superman, but some of the overt corniness has worn on me. But for me, TMNT is still just as great as when I first saw it.

Don't worry. I think we've already established that those movies weren't all they are cracked up to be in this thread.

A Low Down Dirty Shame
Ace Ventura
The Mask
The Last Boyscout
The Fan
Coming To America

No-you're actually allowed to have an opinion on this thread. Even though I still like the :spidey: movies, I'm not going to attack you for what you think.

Batman '89

I still like it, but even before Begins came out my love for it was fading.

Ace Ventura is pretty much the ultimate "GREAT then and WTF?!?! now" movie. I remember laughing my ass off so hard when I first saw it at a drive-in. Now...let's just say that kind of comedy doesn't age well. At all.

Me too, but even more so for Batman Returns.
