Here post what movie you wish were never made. It can even be a upcoming movie!

I have a lot in mind...

The way hollywood's been churning out stinkers off the assembly line thanks to quick and easy (I guess) cgi is mostly to blame. Movies don't need great writing anymore, just put a bunch of fx and explosions in it, have a cool trailer and there's your ticket to a box office success first weekend I am Legend.

Well I've had time to think it over and I have to say Superman Returns. Not because the movie's bad, it's good when it's good at least, but because of how it impacted the fanbase, tore it in two. Batman Begins for all its faults I can still say is an ok start for a new franchise but I can't say the same for Singer's attempt to make a sequel/restart. Noble effort I suppose but I'd rather have avoided the outcome.

-I wish it wasn't made because venom was butchered but I'm glad spidey 3 came along because Spidey's franchise needed a slice of humble pie badly. Those films are so overrated, and it's sad it took a big hackneyed film to show why, but so be it...

-Garfield. I love garfield. The cartoon is such a well written little show that relies on cleverness, wit, actual jokes, not a bunch of dumb slapstick. I was very saddened when I payed and saw what they did to such an EASY concept to grasp, Lazy cat clashes with the uptight personality of his owner. Instead it seemed they just went out of their way to screw it up... damnit...

-Again, Scooby Doo. WWWWWWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttt iiiiiissssssss sooooooooooooooooooo hhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrddd about a bunch of young people solving mysteries. There were no mysteries in those movies that I can remember. All i remember is cleavage and more cleavage... heh heh... yeah, ok I'm glad it was made.

that's it for now, but know that there's a looooooooot of recent movies that never needed to exist.

Well, my actual list would be way too long, so I'll answer this one in general terms.

Films I Wish Were Never Made...

1) The entire "slasher" genre (i.e., films which commonly use more than one of the following: graphic, bloody death scenes, stories involving positive portrayals of demonic or occultic subjects, depictions of sex between unmarried people, explicit or otherwise, and overt language including abuses of God's name and profane sexual references). Examples would include the "Halloween", "Friday the 13th", "Nightmare on Elm Street", "Saw", "Scream", and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" franchises.

2) The entire porn industry...'nuff said.

3) The "sex comedy" genre (i.e., films which predominantly rely on sexual or bathroom humor, as well as extreme swearing, in order to drive the story). Examples would include the "American Pie" franchise, "Superbad", and "Knocked Up".

4) Any film which paints a portrayal of the Judeo-Christian God Almighty (or a fictionalized version of Him) as weak, crude, intolerant, hateteful, uninvolved, or otherwise negative. Such films often (but not always) present a positive or inviting view of demonic activity or the occult. Examples would include "Spawn", "Constantine", and "Ghost Rider", among many others.

Wow, I can tell you haven't even seen those movies. :whatever:

The trailers for them were enough for me to decide against it. The film industry would be much better, in my opinion, if graphic violence, gore, sex, demonic subjects, and anti-Christian elements were completely removed.

Im a chrsitian to and I don't mean to get this into a discussion or anything, but if the bible can have violence, gore, sex, and demonic subjects in its written pages. Then I think its ok to allow them in movies.

Live Free Or Die Hard.
Oh and back to subject.
I wish live free or die hard was never made
Spider-man1,2,3
super-man3 and 4
ghostbusters 2
all the alien movies
all the nightmare movies
and some other movies that I can't remember right now.

This has to be a joke. No one is this ignorant/naive/closed-minded/flat-out-stupid.

Yes, I suppose the world would be better without The Exorcist, The Departed, Goodfellas, Rosemary's Baby, Saving Private Ryan, Midnight Cowboy, Taxi Driver, Last Tango In Paris, Five Easy Pieces, Carrie, Carnal Knowledge, 300, and lordy knows what else didn't exist.

You sir, are either a frightening case of over-conservative brainwashing or hilarious.

...Oh, my vote is for Joel Schumacher's Batman "films", and "Transformers".

No offense but what are you doing on this site? I know chrisitans like you and I know how they feel about the media. This is a genre website and most of the movies we enjoy would fall on your list. I do agree that we should have safer media for young children, but thats not going to happen as long as hollywood is making money.

Aliens Vs Predator- In capable hands this could have been one of the greatest sci-fi/action films in history. Think camerons aliens meets mctierans predator. The sequel looks even worse even though "ITS RATED R!!!!".

Freddy vs Jason- Same as above. One of Wes Cravens drafts was pretty good, and brought back charachters from both of the films.

X-Men- I know Singers hands were tied by the studios, but I still think he was the wrong man for the job. He just isnt creative enough, and the series should have gone to a genre vet like cameron.

Miami Vice- This was one of the biggest dissapointments in years. Mann tried to update the story for modern audiences but lost the series soul in the process. Just this once I wish mann would have cut lose and just made an all out action flick. I would have forgiven him if he used Phil Colins "In the air tonight". I think this film would have been in better hands if someone like Tony Scott,Peter Berg,or Antoine Fuqua had done it.

you're right. all art should be censored so that you and your personal beliefs are never, ever challenged. good on you.

X-men The Last Stand. I really wish it werent made and that Fox had waited for Singer and Marston to be fully available bc then we wouldnt have gotten the crapfest that we did

Oceans Twelve...Not nearly as good as Oceans Eleven

Mr. and Mrs. Smith...this movie pissed me off, it looked good, but was crap...Angelina Jolie is still hot though...so I'm over it.

I feel so sorry for your repressed view on everything.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to watch some porn.

For all who hate my views, bear in mind that I completely left out the action genre, comedies that aren't sexed up, dramas, and the majority of comic-based films. Why?...because I happen to love those kinds of films.

I just don't think that films should be used to push a view that favors pornography, blood & gore, bathroom & sex jokes, swearing against God, or sex between those who aren't married. It's unnecessary, and 90% of all Hollywood films could lose those elements and still retain a decent story. The other 10% should've never been greenlit to begin with.

CINO. I'm not sure about the stuff Moviefan said counts, but I think we can all agree that CINO was truely a blight against God. :o

IT-Terrible adaption
The Lost World-Terrible adaption
Eragon-Could've been better than the book. The only element that was better was the Razac design.

CINO meaning "Constantine in name only", right?

Catwoman, you fool! I can't believe you've made me say it. Every time, that film's name is mentioned a kitten kills god.
