GINO, the American made Godzilla film should never have been made.

For all who hate my views, bear in mind that I completely left out the action genre, comedies that aren't sexed up, dramas, and the majority of comic-based films. Why?...because I happen to love those kinds of films.

I just don't think that films should be used to push a view that favors pornography, blood & gore, bathroom & sex jokes, swearing against God, or sex between those who aren't married. It's unnecessary, and 90% of all Hollywood films could lose those elements and still retain a decent story. The other 10% should've never been greenlit to begin with.

Action movies are the number one culprit for extreme violence and (in the 80's) loose sexuality. If you are only letting them get by because you like them, then that is hypocritical. If you had said that those elements are offensive when only used to cover up weak writing or whatever, that's one thing... But I feel Brokeback Mountain, Sweeny Todd or The 40-Year-Old Virgin have as much right to have risque material as The Punisher or Blade.

Bratz The Movie
The Fog Remake
Elektra
The Mask 2
The Hulk:o Although I have watched it countless times, it could have been so much better, but at least it is getting a second chance.

This is a hard one since ín most cases I´m not against the movie having been made but rather feel that it was made wrong. For example:

Batman & Robin, what the heck were they thinking? I remember sitting in the theater and just going "Uh, is this for real? How can a Batman movie suck this much". I like the previous three movies so a fourth seemed natural and that it was made was alright, it just should have been done differently.

But if we are going with "This movie sucked and therefore there never should have been made a movie with this premise" then the list gets a lot easier:

Scary Movie 3 & 4
Ultra Violet
Alien Vs. Predator
Lawnmover man 2

Fantastic Four
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Pirates of the Carribean 1, 2, and 3
National Treasure
The Golden Compass
CINO
:o

Bump. I agree alot of those!

What kind of backwards logic is that? You dont mind seeing arnold mow down a drug cartel, but you cant stand the site of an exposed breast.

Well, my actual list would be way too long, so I'll answer this one in general terms.

Films I Wish Were Never Made...

1) The entire "slasher" genre (i.e., films which commonly use more than one of the following: graphic, bloody death scenes, stories involving positive portrayals of demonic or occultic subjects, depictions of sex between unmarried people, explicit or otherwise, and overt language including abuses of God's name and profane sexual references). Examples would include the "Halloween", "Friday the 13th", "Nightmare on Elm Street", "Saw", "Scream", and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" franchises.

2) The entire porn industry...'nuff said.

3) The "sex comedy" genre (i.e., films which predominantly rely on sexual or bathroom humor, as well as extreme swearing, in order to drive the story). Examples would include the "American Pie" franchise, "Superbad", and "Knocked Up".

4) Any film which paints a portrayal of the Judeo-Christian God Almighty (or a fictionalized version of Him) as weak, crude, intolerant, hateteful, uninvolved, or otherwise negative. Such films often (but not always) present a positive or inviting view of demonic activity or the occult. Examples would include "Spawn", "Constantine", and "Ghost Rider", among many others.

I'm guessing you lean to the right a bit. Do you listen to Sean Hannity by any chance?

My List
Passion of the Christ
Elektra
King Kong
Spider-man 2 and 3
Its a Wonderful Life
Menace to Society
8 mile
Batman forever
Batman and Robin
and many more I'll think of later

The only ones that I have a real problem with are:

Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil. I wished they would've gotten someone that would've made more faithful adaptations

Fantastic Four & Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer: again, they should've gotten someone that wouldn't have messed up the franchise and especially Marvel's greatest villain, Dr. Doom.

yea the F4 movies were horrible. and shouldn't have been made.

I'm a christian. I'm not from Texas(southern california) and I totally agree with 1) and 2). If someone could explain to me how watching graphic torture and porn movies have a positive effect on the mind I'm all ears.

My list of bad movies: 95% of everything hollywood has released in the past 7 years has been crap. Every year hollywood releases only 10 movies that interest me. Of those 10 films I usually see 3 to 5 to them in the theater. Most of the movies I watch in the theater are the big spectacle blockbuster films that are released over the summer.

I am in no way suggesting that the lower budget movies are bad. I just don't think they are worth spending 10 bucks on. I knew Remember the Titans was going to be a great movie however, I didn't see it in the theaters. I didn't even rent it. I just waited for it to be televised and it was worth the wait.

i'd agree with slasher films....basically... just because they all suck...:o

Where movies are concerned, sex is rarely (my estimate would be less than 2% of the time) depicted as a godly, pure, or holy act. Far more often than not, it's shown as two people (usually unmarried) simply trying to get their rocks off (excuse the bluntness)...and I've become completely sick of it. 99.9% of the time, sex scenes serve no actual purpose in a film's storyline. They're simply used to boost a rating, or push a view of premarital sex as "okay" or "beneficial".:(
