As if the Scorpion King didn't suck enough!

okay, I like the first one, but did it really need a sequel?

I am imagining The Rock refusing to reprise this role because he is too good for it now.:whatever:

Prequel sequels are starting to get old very fast.

Just wait till we ressurect classics with sequels. I can see it now:

Citizen Kane Begins
Another Clockwork Orange
Mr. Smith Returns to Washington
Son of Lawrence of Arabia

Oh yes, I can see it happening.

Well the Rock has not exactly set the screen on fire lately..perhaps this will get him back on track.

ugh... no.

the first one was pretty much a prequel. why do we need a prequel to a prequel? the first wasn't really any good anyway.

How does Scorpion King get a sequel?

Well, the first made some money and these days more or less all of these movies gets sequels. I'm only surprised it took so long for them to decide to make this most likely crappy sequel.

The first was not a masterpiece.. but i bet most of you were entertained.

Wow...of all the sequels they decide to make they to make one to this movie. Not terribly excited though like Robocop points out this may very well reinvigorate The Rock's career which hasn't really gone from the strength to strength since Mummy 2 and Scorpion King.

BTW did you know that the Scorpion King is the prequel to the sequel to of a remake.:woot:

I was but i don't think it warrants a sequel. What more is there to be told about this character? Are we going to meet his parents? Is he going to hook up with the sorceress?

the director for what's looking like the worst Resident Evil yet is trying to direct a sequel to a barely mediocre prequel...

...this guy's going places! :whatever:

I'm no fan of Scropion King...but shouldn't the studio wait to see if RE3 even performs well before hiring Mulcahy...he hasn't made a good movie since 1986.
