Multiplied: The Official Multiple Man/Eric Dane Thread

Isnt it confirmed somewhere that MM is killed by wolverine in the woods.

And it originally came from someone who lied about a lot of stuff, so we don't even know if they fight at all.

I'm curious to see if the clones can multiply. It will be interesting to see how they'll keep it from getting out of hand.

I wouldn't expect Agent Smith levels. I don't know how many clones would look good on screen at once, probably not more than 10 or 15.

^I could picture a mini scale of that Agent Smith vs Neo scene, with Multiple Man having like 15 duplicates standing in a circle and probably Wolverine is in the middle of the circle killing one after the other as one of them jumps into the circle to try and take him out.

They'd probably do whatever's necessary to make MM unique and exciting, so, I'm expecting some crazy stuff with his powers...

I figured 5 or 6!
I guess it depends on how many others are in the same scene, If its just the WOlvie and MM, I could could see more.

If MM is holding a gun in his hand, can he make duplicates of it for his clones, because he can duplicate his clothes for other clones?

If he is shooting a gun,can the gun never run out of bullets, because he could duplicate the bullets?

I don't believe so. I think Multiple Man's powers are strictly limited to multiplying himself, including his clothing. I don't think his powers include the multiplying of foreign objects.

I see what you're getting at with the multiplying of clothing, but we have to remember that these characters and powers are inspired by comic book drawings so having his multiples be without clothing probably wouldn't have gone over so well when he was first conceptualized in the books (which would explain why his multiples have clothes on).

As far as the foreign objects, I don't think so . . . but you never know, the writers are always changing the characters' powers.

Do you think Multiple Man will be on the X-Men side during the final battle, and duplicate himself an army to even out the odds of Magneto's army?
Can he really make that much?

I'm sure I've seen pics of more than 6 duplicates dressed as Multiple Man somewhere. I don' think 5 or 6 ordinary fighters is enough to overwhelm someone like Wolverine.

I'd expect about 6 to start attacking Wolverine, being absolutely destroyed and then multipyling up to 15 or so to give him some real trouble.

So, while Multiple Men are fighting Wolverine, I wonder what the other Brotherhood members are doing. Are they sitting back, relaxing and enjoying the show?

I hope that he turns good in the end. Maybe the Brotherhood turn on Magneto?

I think they are destroying the Golden Gate Bridge. Multiple Man is a distraction apparently.

^That's possible. I have a feeling that he's guarding Magneto's base camp along with his other clones.

I think this fight takes place separately in the woods. I think it's a one on one rather than part of the final battle.

Right. I thought Wolverine was sneaking into Magneto's lair to get Jean back, but encounters Multiple Man instead and they fight.

But I remember a report from one of the extras saying his story was called "Dying to live"

And seeing as his nowhere in sight at the final battle, I'd say he gets offed

That's quite possible. I think it's one of those scenes that are there to keep the pace up during the middle of the film.

^Yeah.

And then Magneto "magnetizes" Wolverine (as seen in the trailer) and tortures him (according to the set reports).

Remember, his clones are parts of his personalities. it would be cool to see one or two fight FOR the x-men.

The torture scene takes place at the final battle.

That's only a recent development in his powers, so don't really expect that to happen.

Everyone, please remember that we do NOT know that there will definitely be a fight between Wolverine and MM. That came from he-who-shall-not-be-named and we know that he is a major liar. Plus, when we do see Logan fighting in the woods, the people he's against are definitely NOT MM dupes.

He's either fighting MM dupes or the soldiers, methinks.
