im far from ungrateful, i appreciate every little thing they do for me. im not planning to move out till im at least 18 - 19 at the oldest.

im a very independent person, i barely look for my parents when i need anything.

If you appreciate everything they do, then you'd abide by their rules.

And again, they pay for electricity, cable, internet, gas, water, sewer and property taxes. So you do look to them for A LOT.

the mortgage is already paid off, food comes cheap for us as most of it "falls off a truck" or comes from one of my dads many hookups, as do some of my clothes.

my dad is one of three bosses at this mortgage company, he makes a nice amount of money.


also if i were to move out it would be at one of my own apartments that i currently own with my dad, we own fife 2 family houses, and two 3+ family houses, and a small apartment complex.

im set, i can choose any one of them to live at, most likely it would be the Atlantic beach house. rent is cheap, and i own it, id take care of the tenants and collect their rent.


im set for life, but im still gonna get a decent job so i can buy food, and such as im only gonna live off my parents for 1-2 more years, i need to start my own family in a few years, maybe when im at least in my late 20's.

You do realize that the expression "it fell off of a truck" means it was stolen don't you? So....you are bragging about being a thief.

According to you....your dad will "let" you move into one of the houses he owns when you get older....then why are you complaining about what he does now....DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW NICE THAT IS (IF TRUE).....

You are going to move into the "Atlantic beach house" AND collect rent from the people living in it....tell me how are you going to do this?

You are going to start a family in "A FEW YEARS"....when in your LATE 20's....if you are 16 NOW.....a FEW years from now will put you at 20....the LATE 20's is a lot longer off.

Well, you don't. As long as you are under your parents roof, you are under their rule. Either you do what they say, or get out. Simple as that.

In othe words, its called the "age of majority".

It is the chronological moment when children legally assume majority control over their persons and their actions and decisions, thereby terminating the legal control and legal responsibilities of their parents over and for them.

Although it is a state-determined age, most of the time it is indeed 18 years of age.

The law is like this for a reason. Despite what you may think, children and adolescents are generally not considered mature enough or experienced enough to make life decisions and act in a responsible manner all the time. This is why they have diminished rights when it comes to making certain choices, because you can bet your last dollar that most kids will make the choice which appeals to them rather than the one which is the most sensible.

Hence, you decided to smoke pot and talk about 'almost' having a job (hey, I 'almost' won the lottery) ................ rather than not smoking pot and actually getting a job.

z0mg... Seriously... I feel bad for rich parents, I went to a catholic school where it was like 9-10 grand a year to go to every year. So most of the kids were really well off, my family by no means "in the money", however they felt it was a good idea I should go. So pretty much everyone was a pot head because it was a bunch of dumbass free-loaders, who feel that they have it SO BAD!! and the man is out to **** over everyone, while there daddies make 100gs a year. Let me paint a picture for you kid... This is what's going happen... Your going smoke lots of weed, your going stop doing anything productive, except hanging around your loser friends, talking about the big day when you get your shot as a musician. Then one day your going wake up and all your friends, who actually didn't spend all their time smoking weed, went on and made something of themselves, while you and your other cronies, are fat ass middle age men still smoking weed, being pathetic as ever !! err... kids like you make me sick!

2. catholic school blows, and the whole religion too, im athiest. i don't belive in anything, i look at the science behind life. no im not scientoligist loon.

3. yes my friends smoke and they have not as great of lives, but there very respectful people, who work hard, and go to school. and none of them are losers.

4. im still gonna smoke, but im not gonna give up things i love doing, alot of you only belive what you see in movies, ooh potheads and stoners are lazy people who mooch off of their family and friends, well let me tell you, i do not accept money from either. i give, i don't take.

5. i may get fat old and bald, but my views on life and my personality will be the same, im a nice kid, a respcetful kid, i help people, i help my friends, i help my friends parents. i spent 3 hours in the hot sun helping my friend rake leaves for his mom and dad, so he can go out for the day. it would have taken him all day if i hadn't of suggested id help him.


im the most generous 16 year old you'd ever know. how many people do you know who always put money in charity buckets, or give out their cloths and old toys to the homeless and less fortunate.

right now half my closet is empty cuz yesterday i went to the local church and dropped off some of my things.


i may be a pothead but im nothing like spicholli from fast times.
