Is anybody concerned that this Namor will come off as quite gay if he's running around in a speedo and nothing else all the time? what is this the male strip show? you'll be able to see his package shape and all that. I really couldn't watch a two hour movie showing this.

Well, him wearing that was his original look ever since the character made his debut in the comics. If they don't want to use that, then maybe they can always go for something else.

I like the speedo look. That's why you need a muscular guy that can really pull it off...He'll be underwater most of the time so no bulge.

I can't see him as Namor. I don't remember him ever being rumored for the part either, but I do remember him being suggested for the Flash...

He's currently the top contender for Flash and working with Goyer on it. He was a top contender for Deadpool as well but that was going nowhere so he left.

Namor? Nnnnoooo. An alternate Johnny Storm, sure. Namor? nope.

David Goyer and some other writer were considering a Deadpool film. Reynold was rumored for the role. But yeah, the Namor rumor seems vague.

Depends on what exactly they plan to do. Personally id love to see him go up against the Human Torch like in his early appearances and Marvels. Namor has a cousin Namorita so she might be included, for the rest, he really has never had a supposrting cast so my guess is that they simply would make them all up, for Namor has always been more of a guest star and not a star himself.

Leonardo DeCrapieyo should be Aquaman. They should get a guy from another country to play Namor, like a German, or.... Atlantian...

I think it was dumb move Marvel sold namor to a different company since he was since a big part of the FF universe. Maybe if the solo film never gets made the rights could revert to Marvel and they could use him in FF3 or even FF4. But that depends on how long the current studio that owns namor has it. Does anyone know the year the right to Namor revert to marvel like i did with the hulk sequel?

I think a Namor/Human Torch fight would be awesome to see and the interactions between Namor,Sue and Reed would be interesting to see on the big screen. I Liked how it worked in the 94 cartoon.

That's the teenage Namor though...Not a fan of that one. I want to see the big, manly Namor. I don't think Gerard Butler is right though, despite the body (which he just proved anybody can get a hold of with that amazing transformation anyway)...You know what's a left feild choice who I think would kick ass as Namor? Clive Owen.

...That and I dream of the day this guy meets with Ioan's Mr. Fantastic and compete for Sue.
