As much as McCollum's game is smooth, he's the weak link in the Blazers lineup. Swap him with a lengthy defender like Middleton, Klay or Covington (in addition to retaining Ariza), The Blazers would be among the elite teams in the league.

Sigh...the dichotomy that's LeBron James smh. I don't care what jersey this dude's wearing now or whatever record he had tonight. There's no way...NO WAY...Gary Trent Jr. of all people should get away with defending him in the 4th qtr on any planet in the known universe. Utterly ridiculous. That said, his teams always seem to lose the first game of a series, better tighten up though. This ain't the year for this $#!*

Oh...DARTH!!!

Interesting stuff this season, no? Happen to see Melo lately? How about Russ? Just curious if you've been watching, I need to take this frustration out on somebody ;)

Ever since Ewing, the Knicks never move up in the draft lottery.

I'm a little saddened that none of the proposed home court advantage makeup modifications made way into the games. It was a fine opportunity for MTV's Rock N Jock to make an impression on a new generation.

i miss Rock N Jock. they were so fun

Word is playoffs may be postponed due to Jacob Blake shooting.

CNN sources says all of today's games are postponed

WOJ

Sucks as that's all I've been watching at night, but is what it is.

Watching Doc Rivers’ emotional speech, basically saying how black people have every right to hate America after it kept hating them for 4 centuries, and I completely agree. What this country needs to do is give all the black people enough money to move to Africa and live there in prosperity. It’ll take trillions and trillions of cash but that’s the consequence we deserve. It’s dangerous for them to keep living here. Nothing will ever change for them here. This isn’t a republican nor democrat issue.

The thing is most of us probably wouldn't even move cause we're so used to this.

NBA Board of Governors is holding a meeting tomorrow. Who knows what comes out of that.

There is a level of preaching to the choir with all this, but at the same time at least it's being expressed in a public forum.

Doc had his house burned down for marrying a white woman, so he has had to bear an enormous amount of awfulness.

I can understand what you are suggesting, but they shouldnt have to go anywhere. This is their home as much as anyone's. Put the trillions into fixing systemic racism here. And maybe put aside some funds to send the MAGATs to Russia.

I think you must be speaking with tongue firmly planted in cheek, but I completely and utterly disagree. That would be turning this country over to the bigots and their fascist leaning policies. Some people might want to live in an America like that, but I'm certainly not one of them. I could go on, but it would probably sound like preaching.

I don’t want to live in an America that isn’t willing to fix itself. This country is acting like $h?# right now. People won’t even come together to wear an f’ing mask to save lives. In my state Mitch McConnel is actively running on a platform whereby he is criticizing his opponent for supporting people who protest brutality. And he will probably win because of it.
These are sad times. The NBA was bringing some welcomed joy into my household. But maybe that joy isn’t what is needed right now. Maybe we need to continue to recognize the $#!& that’s going on.

Clifford Robinson has passed away today.
He was actually one of my favorite players growing up. Or at least, someone i really enjoyed watching play for some reason.

This year is the Fing worst. I remember Cliff and his headbands. A terrific player. Man, it feels like an avalanche out there.....

With the protests and pandemic going on, and the NBA's response to both, one topic that has become lost is how the long break might have actually helped the Lakers. LeBron got to rest those 35 year-old legs. Davis didn't have to push himself through the grueling NBA season with no time for his body, plagued by nagging injuries his whole career, to heal. From what I saw of their last two games, both of those guys look fresh and focused.
