This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]457787[/split]
For decades, ex-government agent Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader, “The Office,” “Boston Legal”has been one of the FBI’s Most Wanted fugitives. Brokering shadowy deals for criminals across the globe, Red was known by many as “The Concierge of Crime.” Now, he’s mysteriously surrendered to the FBI with an explosive offer: He will help catch a long-thought-dead terrorist, Ranko Zamani, under the condition that he speaks only to Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone, “Law & Order: Los Angeles”
, an FBI profiler fresh out of Quantico. For Liz, it’s going to be one hell of a first day on The Job. What follows is a twisting series of events as the race to stop a terrorist begins. What are Red’s true intentions? Why has he chosen Liz, a woman with whom he seemingly has no connection? Does Liz have secrets of her own? Zamani is only the first of many on a list that Red has compiled over the years: a “blacklist” of politicians, mobsters, spies and international terrorists. He will help catch them all… with the caveat that Liz continues to work as his partner. Red will teach Liz to think like a criminal and “see the bigger picture”… whether she wants to or not. “The Blacklist” also stars are Diego Klattenhoff (“Homeland”
, Harry Lennix (“Man of Steel”
, Ryan Eggold (“90210”
and Ilfenesh Hadera (“Da Brick”
.
That was a stupid risky move to throw Liz in an undercover op. Her face was on national tv for months. Hell, it was on national tv a few weeks ago after the President pardoned and reinstated her.
The move against Red's operation will most likely be Mr. Kaplan finally hitting back. She's going to be a formidable foe.
Couldn't help but notice in one of the previous episodes she looked ill (4.11)It's kinda strange how much smaller Liz' screen time has become. It was better this week but she was barely there in the last few weeks.
[BLACKOUT]woah, that latest episode was just a huge info dump, have to say they did an excellent job of casting a young Mr Kaplan.[/BLACKOUT]
Katrina being Red I'm starting to buy it.
Is it because of the sudden shift in his attitude (pre vs post Katarina) and how they're sort of hiding his face when he's still with Katarina? Or just because with his interest to keep Kate around?
ETA: Ok I read some of the reasons at Reddit and I can understand now why... still not sure how I feel about that theory. It's too smart and I'm not convinced that this show is capable of that.
